Im dying to see whats up with powerplex, I feel that its going to be a really fun issue. Then 60.... I have no idea how im going to manage the time between issues, and the following Conquest arc is going to be so damn good, I have a really good feeling. Its a good time to be a Invincible fan for sure.

Im starting to get the shakes!! I cant wait. The next string of issues looks SO good.

As many of you know I am a huge Invincible fan. Today is a very, very good day. I have finally aquired the cover to issue 50! After over a year of emailing the previous owner about selling, I finally was successful! I am obviously on

I wonder if he will be a one time baddy, or an ongoing character with real substance.

I went to the Phoenix Con this weekend, it was so so, but it met my expectations since I went just to get a Terry Moore sketch. I absolutely love his new book Echo, definately a fun read.

Here are a few I have done. I have been drawing for a little over a year, but really havent done much. I have not drawn anything since September so maybe I will get back into it. First one is of my girlfriends twin sister and her dog, did it as a christmas girft but finished it in September. The other one I couldnt scan the full image so there is also my bad phone pic of the whole thing.

I'm posting here as opposed to a buying forum because I figure you all would know best. Where is the best place to find individual back issues (1-20) at reasonable prices? I'm trying to do a run, but slowly because its not really high on my list right now, and I have issues #1 and #2. I'm looking to pickup #3 this month, maybe #4 next month, just take it easy until I get to ones that are closer to cover price.

 

I've checked like a dozen online shops, and are pretty thin in the 1-20 issue range. Even ebay really doesn't have a lot of individual issues, and I don't feel like piecing together lots and ending up with a lot of duplicates either. It's probably cheaper in the longrun just to buy the whole collection at once, but those prices are like 200+ on ebay.

It depends really on what condition the books are in for the full lot. If #1 is NM and the rest are just as good, I personally would pay 200 for the lot, its convenient and good condition. I pieced mine together quickly. I looked for what was in ebay sellers store, picked the lowest price at NM quality and bought as much as they had so I could combine shipping. If you buy from a bunch of different sellers your going to get killed with shipping costs.

Take it or leave you heard it here first: I'm predicting cat dude, you know oh what'sis name he's only been in two books....

 

 

Just as a quick wonder, just how many covers DO you have easy?

 

And on an entirely other note, if i'm not being rude to ask - what they set you back per piece on roughestimate?

 

And as you seem to be in the know, how you source your pieces, i'm really liking the multi invincibles from the other dimension panels...

Battle Beast? Is that who your talking about? Thats an interesting call. Thats pretty plausable if you ask me, he did just escape with Allen and Nolan.

don't know but I'm excited for these upcoming issues. It could be powerplex but I would think some new stuff would go down after the craziness is over in 60.

it would be interesting if it were Nolan but I don't think it's him. He seems like he wouldn't be so viltrumite-y if he comes back. I have to go with a new character. It's going to be interesting. I'm just really excited for 60 to come out.

yea, ya got me. Still, thought I would bring it to everyones attention because I have absolutely no clue as to who the is on the cover. Anyone have any thoughts? Some people thought it would be the Immortal over on the Kirkman forum. I dont think so, but I really cant speak cuz im stumped. New Character maybe?

well I guess I will be the first to comment on the issue, which I thought was a lot of fun. So obviously if you have not read it yet then stop reading this post.

I thought it was a great set up issue for 60 and beyond. Angstrom Levy is going to be one hell of a fight. Also the whole private security company Eve set up is really interesting, and a pretty good twist if you ask me. Does anyone think the belt that monster-girl now has is going to have an adverse effect on her? This issue was packed with a ton of info, I wonder if Mark is really going to be happy for Oliver if he gets stronger than him. I would think not. Ottley rocked the art, what else is new.
