Yo Phi,

Careful with the custom framing, that stuff gets expensive fast. I used to do that with every piece I have, then ran out of room, so I just got the standard 11X17 frames at my local frame shop. Now I got a lot more room to hang stuff and it saves a ton of money. I was paying like $120 each custome frame, now I pay $10 for the standard frame. Granted it doesnt have UV glass, but I keep all the windows closed in my office at the house.

God I want Kevs 51 cover sooo bad you have no idea.

So i was flipping through invincible ( or it might have been walking dead) and i was reading that Kurt got turned into a partner at image eh?

 

Anyone else think this might just have something to do with the fact that he's got 2 (and wolfman is gaining?) popular, self made comic books that have only done wonders for the image comic book company.

 

Also phi - you have too many cgc'd invincibles(sweet #55 - love any cover with a viltrumite on it!) leave some for the rest of the world eh?

I am waiting to get back in town from a Christmas vacation to pay for this but am to excited to wait to post. I have been holding out a long time since i bought my last Walking Dead cover and have been waiting for the perfect one to come along. I was lucky to get this one. Someone beat me to it and then passed, so I guess its my X-mas gift to myself.

Nice books PhiGam! I imagine some of those issues are tough to find in raw 9.8 worthy condition like #10 & 12.

It seems like there are a couple of new members to our little club here, welcome. It was getting a little lonely with just me Phi and Kev being the only ones throwing out love for Invincible.

Whats your takes on why Invincible is has not picked up a larger following so far. It angers me when I dont even see a single issue in the top 100 in sales. Kirkman and Ottley deserve way more props than they get right now. I think so many people dont explore whats out there, and just stick to Marvel and DC, which in my opinion is a huge mistake. Anyways, how long do you think it will take for this book to really go mainstream?

I was lucky enough to slip onto Francis Manapul's latest commission list. Well actually my girlfriend did, and early X-mas gift. I absolutely loved Iron and the Maiden, if you all have not checked that mini out you should pick it up off ebay, definately a fun read. Anyways, of course I am a Invincible nut so what else to get commissioned other than....

a raw copy goes for around $100-120. If its VF you can get it for $75 or so. Those two CGCs are the Larrys edition, not the original print.

well...we ALL had to wait 3 months in between #49 and #50 that sucked...

so 56! Loved it, not to much action but a great story none the less. Damn Ambers eye was bad. I hope Gary hits here again so Mark can throw him through a wall or something. I really like FCO on colors. That shinner was spectacular.

YO Phi- how far into the series do you have CGC'd. It would be kinda cool to have the whole series in 9.8 with a couple 9.9's in there, expensive, but cool.

Every week that Invincible or Walking Dead comes out totally makes my week. I can't wait, sure makes that fact that I have finals this week a whole lot better.

Two punches to the head at the same time is the way to kill a Viltrumite. That was awesome. Dude how strong is Allen! He is a beast. You know a huge Viltrumite show down is coming sometime in the not so distant future!!

that TPB cover is awesome, i think that may be one of the best ones. I would so jump on that but im out of cash now Oh well. Yea i heard 60 is going to be unreal. Kev have you got the dps in yet that you bought from Ryan? Did you buy both the pencils and the inks? I just got the other DPS from that issue in the mail yeaterday so that totally made my day!

that is a bad cover! Issue 55 was sweet, cant wait to see allen and nolan take on the remaining Viltrumites. Thats is going to be one kick battle!
