  1. New prices added for Tales of Suspense #75 now $1,600.00 and Strange Tales #150 now $250.00.

Both comics are well worth it with Sharon Carter now becoming part of mainstream and Umar is an integral character in the Dr. Strange's books where she will eventually appear in the movies.

These are well worth the pick up and I would keep them if I did not go after another item more dear to me.

Even though I'm a secret Archie fan, I was avoiding this show.... until last night.

I saw that it was up on Netflix, so in my moment of boredom I decided to give it a chance.  I actually really liked it.  I can't wait to punch in episode 2 tonight.  Maybe I'll even binge a couple episodes.

For those who have watched the entire season, is it going to keep getting better or does it plateau and go into the toilet?

I'm a comic book fan thar never read Archie comics before.  My wife read them growing up so she wanted to watch Riverdale with me.

I came in with an open mind and really liked the entire season 1.  To me it did not plateau and then die off.  It builds until the end.  The show has made me an Archie fan and now I am intrigued with reading some of the back issues.

  3. I was in the hospital for minor surgery and stayed in bed for a couple of days.  My mother bought me some comics to escape while in bed and one of them was Daredevil 184 No Mister Nice Guy cover with DD pointing a big magnum hand gun. lol

To think back my mom was really cool.  I got hooked from that point on. My brother and I along with a friend would attend conventions a few years later which helped fuel the addiction.

  4. Went to a street sale that had many different homes selling in their front yard today with my family.  Never in a million years did I expect to find these boxes of Archie’s, Charlton, Gold Key, and Walt Disney Comics.

There are probably over 200 comics, don’t even know at this point have not had a chance to count it all.  Most books are in the Good to Fine range with some in the Very Fine range.  Many of the books are from the 1970’s to 1990’s era with a splatter of 1950’s to 1960’S books.   I liked Riverdale show, so not to savvy on Archie comics, but this will be a little fun endeavor.

Here are some pictures of the find.
