  1. That is what I was trying to get at too.
  2. Those mags are beautiful. I have a few traps in my other business that would make one scream.🤭
  3. The company without a name grading these?
  4. My wife is very supportive of me and my collection. Friends, not so much.
  5. I regret selling Incredible Hulk #1 . I did do it for a good reason though. I made my daughters perfect wedding on the Queen Mary.🥰
  6. As for the blue staple books. I believe that there was an insider in the company who had used the same printing process and dimensions as the original books, maybe possible using the original printing plates. Hence why there was a mans bald head when on the original printing it did not have that man visible. You really scored on that book, the provenance is there.
  7. Yeah I thought that guy was pretentious at best. Ido know that a type of Lytho print was used , because the thickness of the black ink is much darker. It couldnt be made from a basic Xerox copy.
  8. That is amazing! I am grateful for your ongoing investigation into this book. I too have a copy, and am eagerly awaiting your findings. That was a great buy, and I wish with all the information Mr. Pearson provided is truly an amazing find.
  9. Some great board memories on that pic.🤘😎
  10. Was there several frames of Gambit? Yes Was he named? Yes First appearance = X- Men Annual 14 1st story appearance = X- Men 266 Rest my case.
  11. GA bag n boards for everything, then put the higher dollar books in a magazine top loader. Same with my mags. Magazine bag n boards, with magazine top loader. With magazine holders for ease of organizing the catalog, and use Works great for me.
  12. Where am I when this kind of stuff needs to be found? 😒
  13. There are some Warren's that are nearly impossible to find in any grade, but most can be found in the vg to fine range quite easily. It's when you get into 9.2 - 9.8 / nm+ range when it becomes a challenge.
  14. I know the Eerie 25 you sold me was a solid beauty. You have a good eye.
  15. Oh man what a bargain. They are beautiful.
  16. Where in the heck did you find the U.K. Vampis? I know you are quite a good grader, and only buy the best. What would YOU grade them to be? They look pretty high grade to me.
  17. Like many sales guys here like Bob, for instance . I know he has to pay business expenses, so I would be more thoughtful towards someone like him than to an individual who is selling books at home on the side type of thing.
  18. I'm not a seller, but I can give you my point of view on a buyers perspective. I dont care what one asks for a book, if I like the book and its grade I will pay over FMV . I dont negotiate prices, just dont have time for that. So if you have that special book that matches all my criteria, you know I will leave meat on the bone for you. If you give me some kind of outlandish price I will just tell you no. I'm sure there's another one around the corner.
