I have 1-3 but haven't read them yet, but I have been hearing that issue 3 was awesome. So perhaps that's causing people to want to check out the rest of the series? Yep, I suspect expectations for this were low and when it turned out to be a quality read people were left playing catch up. I had to be talked into reading this series, but it's now one of my favorite books. Also, we are seeing A LOT of girls in the store asking for this. I guess he was the pull for them in the movie?

I doubt one of those 300 pound linebackers would take kindly to such an epithet. I doubt one of those 300 pound linebackers would accept an invite to play Rugby League if they'd seen it

did you see the Spurs game? 3 penalties we should have gotten Haven't ManU had enough decisions against Spurs? not sure where to start with this, sendings off that weren't fouls, penalties given for fouls which weren't fouls which were outside the box, Man U quickly take a free kick backwards, Spurs latch on & take the ball, through on goal & the ref blows and says he wasn't ready. Christ as a Spurs fan of over 40 years I could literally reel off 100s but you know what they say, a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Nope, they're being shipped out because re-stocks are arriving next week, we have 17 coming. Hence the reason that guy is offering "3 day special offer" as he knows they'll be plentiful again next week

As this heats up, do you think it will sink the value of 266? Or will the increased interest in Gambit also drive 266 as his first "full" appearance? I hope this is gonna go up. I have a store that is sitting on approx 20 copies in NM- or better at cover price. They seem to be sellin online in the 4-9 range .. so I might cherry pick a half dozen of the best and play the waiting game. Why do you all think this is going to go up? I don't quite understand. It has always been known as the Gambit 1st cameo or whatever. I bought a bunch of NM-ish copies of it from my LCS for $1 apiece years ago and am still sitting on them. I think the fact that this is an annual really sinks it. Avengers Annual 10 is a cool and popular book, but it doesn't pull alot of cash unless it's a 9.6 or better slab. I've had this book for years but never saw it as 1st Gambit. It wasn't listed on comicspriceguide or comicbookrealm as such and is always available on ebay cheap. In the last few weeks however, everyone & their dogs are labelling it 1st Gambit

X-Men Annual #14 why you think it will increase in value? Now apparently 1st appearance of gambit? (%) probability that it will go up. 100% - new series is selling well & getting a lot of interest what price do you think it will achieve? $30 - $40 how long we should hold it? ie. long term/short term flip the cheap one's now and buy more
