I tried that with Borderlands: Origins. Was promptly told they were available at cover price from website A & B. Bought copies from website A & B. Sold them on Ebay at 6X cover

Nothing or 1st appearance of Superior Spiderman

Just sitting down to read #106. Made the BIG mistake of flipping to the last page this afternoon. I have to wait a month after that!!!!

Oh it counts, sadly you will get a bunch or jokers who will say no because they are heavily invested in books they mistakenly think are the first appearance. Nice work on finding this one! I said somewhere in the Is Spider-man Superior thread that Marvel Previews 2 actually contains the first Superior Spidey. No one acknowledged my post at the time. I remember very distinctly picking it up and flipping through it. It came out one week before DD21 even if you count DD21 to contain Superior's first appearance. Even if you discount Marvel Previews 2, which was free, I think it's really Avenging Spidey 15.1 that's the first app. Anyway, a year from now Superior will be inferior and the title will be canceled. So what do you believe? If you said somewhere that the preview is the first then what changed your mind between now and then? I'll tell you this-go look on ebay and see how many of those previews you can track down. I found 1. The market is saturated with those other books you mentioned. The same thing is happening with Annihilation conquest 6. Issue one of Abnett's GOTG has blown up, saw one going for 60+ this weekend but you can't find a copy of Conquest 6 anywhere ( the true first appearance of the team that will appear in the film.) I'll put 100 on Ebay UK when I get to work tomorrow. Will that satisfy you, They're as rare as X-Force #1s. Came in packages of 25 and as a small shop we got 250 copies. You found 1 because no-one is interested I'll take them off your hands, I'll buy the whole lot despite the fact that your a fan of Superman. Don't know about school-girl giddy but I do enjoy convo with newbies about the book -- I have put on quite a few people to the book and have even gotten some people into other comics from first getting them into WD -- its a great feeling to see other people get excited about our hobby Of course, There are others who make fun - one of my friends texted me "I think I saw you outside NYCC, were you wearing a wonder-woman outfit" i love getting new people into TWD. I got my gf and two of my good friends into it. It's pretty awesome being able to go out on a full discussion about the book with newbies And yet... all that people are ever seem interested in talking about on this thread is the secondary market, the price of OA, the money to be made, who's selling what on ebay etc. etc. etc. Oh - except for the 24 hours or so of conversation about the actual plot that we get once a month after the latest issue is released. Very little "full on discussion" happening. That's not a dig at anyone in particular - it's clear that the majority of people that post on this thread are far more interested in the "value" side of things, complaining about splash page prices and showing each other their latest eBay purchases - fair play to them, I just wish there was another thread to talk about the story without having to wade through pages of it... I'd love to talk about the comic But it's always "Hey spoilers! I've been waiting for the 100 issue Super Compendium to come out & you just went and ruined issue #2 for me "

If Daredevil came out before 700 why would you suggest that book over DD 21? I'd suggest none of them. This is a story, no different from FF 587 or Cap 25. It'll all be over soon enough. If you do speculate, flip quickly. Yes I agree. Conformation that Superior first appeared in DD 21 comes when DD 22 comes out. I still say DD 21 is the first appearance and not 700. Doc Oc has been Spiderman for some months now so your argument is missing a few issues, he appeared at the end of Daredevil #21, he's also appeared recently (as Doc Oc Spidey) in Avengers Vs X-Men, Avenging Spiderman, Avengers, New Avengers etc etc etc so technically his 1st appearance could be any number of comics from the last few months. His 1st appearance in new Superior Spiderman Costume is Avenging Spiderman #15.1 And which issues are those that he appears in as Superior Spider-Man besides 700, dd21 and Avenging 15.1? You cannot count any Doc Oc Appearances as a SS appearance prior to DD21, they can only be counted when he is in costume as SS which is in DD21 first. You only see a hand push Peter Parker in Web of Spider-Man 18 and we know that's a venom cameo because Marvel confirmed it.
