  1. Hello @Limpy 55, Thank you for your question. I would not be able to estimate a grade based on photographs of your books. Many factors are considered during the grading process, and an in-hand evaluation by the grading team would be required. If your goal is to slab books with a grade of 9.8 or higher, and you have at least 25 books to grade, you may want to try our pre-screen service. You will be charged the selected grading fees ONLY for books that meet or exceed your specified minimum grade. The books that meet your specified grade will be certified and encapsulated according to the chosen grading tier, and those grading below your specified grade will be returned uncertified. There is an $8 per reject fee for all books that do not reach your specified grade. You can view our pre-screen FAQs here: https://www.cgccomics.com/about/help-center-faqs/submitting-to-cgc/cgc-prescreen-service/. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a great day!
  2. Hello @Sammyk0130, I am happy to help with these questions! The deadlines for in-house signing submissions are based on when we receive your package. As long as we have your book in our warehouse by January 14, your submission will be eligible for the Hugh Jackman signing. If your estimated arrival is "no later than January 8", and the package arrives within that timeframe, you will be good to go! The paperwork is also fine. Our Receiving team will look through the packaging materials thoroughly when looking for the submission packing slip. Let us know if you need any more help and have a great day!
  3. Hello @bhorsey, I can understand your concern and I am happy to share the reason for the increase in estimated turnaround time. CGC is holding all magazine submissions until the arrival of the new holder and the necessary encapsulation equipment. Production is expected to begin in early February. You can view the announcement here: Coming Soon: A New CGC Magazines Holder | CGC (cgccomics.com). If you have any other questions, please let us know. Regards,
  4. Hello @Sammyk0130, Great question. You can include the private signing card with your packing slip. We will remove your slabbed book from its holder and place it in a window bag with the card. If you need any more help, feel free to let us know. Regards,
  5. Hello @Sammyk0130, I hope you are having a great day! When you send a book to be signed, whether slabbed or raw, you can place notes on your submission form requesting that the artist place their signature in a specific area. However, it is important to note that the final placement is at the artist's discretion, and we cannot promise a specific placement for the signature. If you have any other questions, let us know! Regards,
  6. Hello @Comicbookfanboy, If we are holding a submission due to non-payment or a failed delivery, we will attempt to contact the customer via multiple channels of communication to resolve the issue. In nearly all cases, this will put us in contact with the surviving family members and we will work with them. Any issues involving "uncollected" goods would be handled in accordance with Florida state law. I hope this was helpful. Have a good day!
  7. Hello @FunkyJay, Great question! Working days are Monday through Friday, excluding nationally recognized holidays. A general rule of thumb is to count approximately 20 business days per calendar month. A 60 working day estimated turnaround would be about three calendar months. I hope this is helpful to you. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!

    Express?

Hello @Sammyk0130, For your submission, since it is currently scheduled for grading, it will be a few more days. The end-of-year holidays may have a minor impact on our estimated turnaround, and we are working diligently to ensure that all Express tier submissions are completed as quickly as possible. I estimate completion and shipping should occur over the next few business days. You can access the grade online once your submission moves into a "SHIPPED" status on your tracking page. I hope this helps! Have a great day!
  9. Hello @grababeh, Thank you for your question! Submission for subgrades, would require regrading and be submitted for normal grading with sub-grade service added on. When you submit a card for regrading, in many cases the card will retain its grade, however, receiving the same grade is not guaranteed. It is also important to keep in mind that your card will need to be removed from its holder. Holders are designed to be hard to open and tamper evident. While we strive to remove every card safely, we cannot completely eliminate any risk of damage. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
  10. Hello @Pierce Poundings, I apologize that you are experiencing issues placing your order. I have provided a detailed response via email. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
  11. Hello @CMoncada, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, this is not something we allow. To ensure that your collectibles are returned to you as quickly as possible, when selecting fast track service, fast track will apply to both grading and pressing services. If there is anything else we can help with, let us know.
