  1. Finale was spectacular. Made me want to watch the series from the start again immediately.
  2. Episode 8 was the best to date. The first time jump was a bit much but this one was transitioned well. Some really great acting in this show. Probably less dragon action(so far) than most hoped for but they did a great job making it feel like the original GoT. Can't help but eyeroll every time I see people whining about this show and Rings of Power, not being up to par to the originals when the stories aren't even completed yet
  3. None of that selling yet. Just raws at about $75ish, which is normal for the first few days. You won't see these spike like the golds, due to the print run and they will be releasing more throughout the con.
  4. Announcement last week. $40. 1k printed. Shared between two stores.
  5. xiva8428 Didn't pay a few days after auction end. When I reached out, they asked for another week. One week and two days later, crickets.
  6. Took me about 5 years of hunting and 50+ copies that failed 9.8 prescreen but I finally got them
  7. Just a cracked case but only printed out a UPS ground return label. Previously it was always overnight.
  8. Just received a book today that needs to go back and no more overnight shipping.
  9. Those books get higher grades because they are square bound books with hard stock covers. Batman: Damned, is another good example. Harder to get those grades on a normal stock cover comic.
  10. No but in this case, CGC is the chef. The butcher would be whomever makes the plastic.
  11. I agree somewhat but they want the book and the seller didn't make the faulty product. CGC is doing the right thing by reholdering them for free and standing by their product, regardless of when or where somewhat purchased it.
  12. They do and they should. Just because flippers don't care about how the book/case appears, doesn't mean the actual collectors should be stuck with a defective product.
  13. Yes. It's built in to the submission form.
  14. That's the biggest problem with ebay. Those sales are probably fake, to artificially inflate the price. Then someone will buy another one at that price point because they perceive the value is that much. Then it just snowballs.
  15. I've bought plenty of far out pre sales without a problem. You just have to use PayPal and you have 180 days.
  16. No. The gold sold at least 275. It went so fast, I don't know if the 300 were listed but I assume so. The remaining silver are being held back for conventions, which is typical of what most stores do.
  17. Those that may be outraged, probably aren't aware it's been going on for over a decade, at least. I get it. We all are trying to go more green but unless you're driving an electric car, have a solar powered house and recycle everything you consume, you're just throwing stones in a glass house. 700 books aren't going to melt the remaining ice caps and how do we know they aren't recycling the destroyed copies somehow?
  18. Nelson is good people. I've never worked with someone more honorable in my 30+ years in comics.
  19. @CGC Mike Hi Mike. Would you be able to find out what happens if one of these grade out above 9.8? are they disposed of, since there is only 300 9.8 grades allowed?
