  1. It makes sense the audiences are split on it(56% currently on RT). Past Gen vs current. I went into TLJ knowing most of the spoilers but kept an open mind. I really wanted to like it. However, it felt less like steering the franchise toward a new path and more like taking a big dump on the legacy.
  2. Saw it today and hated it. It's the only SW movie I couldn't find something to salvage(although there are some brief cool Star Wars moments). That's saying a lot considering the prequels. Like many of us, I was raised on the original trilogy and I just don't like what they are doing to the story. I was still on board after TFA. I enjoyed most of it, even if there was a lot of dejavu. After 45-60 mins, I couldn't wait for the Last Jedi to end. It just felt like a space movie. Not Star Wars.
  3. Yes! I was really hoping for a PG rated Deadpool
  4. 301william10 - Non paying strike given.
  5. The last 3 sold for $200. There won't be a flood but a small influx expected shorty because if the current going price and movie buzz.
  6. 4 Reholders Received 9-1- Verified 9/5 - Graded 10/6 - QC 10/10 - Shipped/Safe 10/12 4 MFT @CCS Received 9/1 - Sent to CGC 9/29 -FINALLY Received at CGC 10/12 - Verified 10/16 - SFG 10/20 - Graded 10/20 - Shipped 10/25 28 MFT @CGC Received 9/1 - Verified 9/7 and moved to SFG on 9/20 - Graded 9/27 - Quality Control & Shipped Safe 10/9 All done for this batch. Very happy with Tots and grades. Not so much with Newtons still on standard size slabs.
  7. I had my very first transaction with Eric and it went perfectly. Looking forward to our next deal
  8. Last week, when I called, they said 5-6 weeks for reholders. Guess they got a lot more since then?
  9. I would call them Monday as to why they are labeled mechanical error.
  10. Mechanical error typically means they are doing it at no charge. When cgc was reholdering the slabs without inner well, that's how those orders showed on invoice.
  11. The vertical line is the most common. Besides that, the spine takes a beating in that polybag. If the corners are nice and square (rare), there are usually multiple color breaks bringing down grade.
  12. It feels that way and scoring two on my last pre screen, I think I am done. I wasn't trying to make money on these. It was more of a fun challenge. I got my white cap UPC and won't sell regardless if it's a 1k or $30 book. I think there are more black caps out there (debatable), so if anyone manages one of those, pm me!
  13. I would estimate I have gone through 3,000-3500 of these in 10+ years. Out of those, I have found about 40-45 9.8 candidates. Out of those, I have gotten a total of 3 that passed 9.8 pre screen. I do hope more come out now. I don't collect newstand books, so that's why I sold these. Another popped up(white cap UPC) on ebay right after I sold mine but that's the same ebay user ID that purchased my newstand one.
  14. Absolutely. Even that one I sold on ebay should bring out a few more. Still, if they are stored in the polys all these years, it won't be a flood of 9.8s.
  15. I still need a "positive" cap UPC and would certainly pay $200 for a 9.8, so I know there is somewhat of a market for these.
  16. I had two come back 9.8 in my last batch. Sold one here for $200 and the other on ebay for the same.
  17. CCS fast track just recently changed from 20 business days to 35. Just fyi
  18. Actual tots for cgc is 4-5 weeks atm for fast track. CCS is about 2 months.
  19. My latest batch of "acceptable" amount of rings. 28 books total. Almost half have the same degree. CGC wasn't able to case them in the thicker cases anymore, which almost completely eliminates the rings. My only choice is to suck it or switch to an inferior company.
