  1. I enjoy his work but like JSC, many of female faces look the same. Some more recent work looks like he is trying to correct that though.
  2. Yeah. That's no good. Be interesting to see more people's experiences.
  3. Same. Not many but no problems and all the raw books purchased through them have come back 9.8.
  4. One negative thing on the thicker cases: More scanner glare due to the thickness.
  5. Yes. I requested they were all reholdereed in #5 cases but I called before I sent them in.
  6. Plenty. The 30 I sent back were all in the normal thickness cases(copper/moderns). They were all put in the thicket #5 cases and all were improved with most showing none of very little.
  7. Hopefully the next announcement is that Johnson will no longer be involved with the future trilogy
  8. I'll have to look when I get home. I assume it has a upc on the back since I originally got it at a 7 Eleven. I think the others are just later printings. Just checked and it indeed has UPC on back cover.
  9. Agree but then there would only be 3 saga rrps at 9.8?
  10. I thought Friday threads started earlier in the week....
  11. Unfortunately they have. The amount of the prism effect is acceptable according to them. Although they will reholders for free at times, it's considered a courtesy.
  12. I would definitely pay $5 more a book to get the effect to be minimal, like the last gen slabs. The problem is simple. A majority of submitters are flipping. So why complain? They don't care what it looks like.
  13. Sadly, I consider myself an expert on this topic. Brittany was kind enough to help me reholder a 30 book order a little over a year ago. I've tried every thickness case they have and the #5 case shows the least amount of prism effect. Even those show a bit more than older cases but it's the BEST they have right now.
  14. I haven't been paying attention since I left that group, distancing myself as much as I could. I'll take a wild guess of zero since that book, as well as a majority of the others, are now pretty worthless.
