  3. So I accepted an offer from a seller to buy their book, asked for payment info, and then they listed the book for sale in the Golden/Silver age section. I know there is not a second copy, as he is using the pictures I posted the to. So basically he tells me a price he wants to sell for, I accept, he reads the message, then posts it for sale on the forum?
  4. Yes it was! Also the seller of that book is a member here. Yes, I know James. I will try and find a trade or readers then.
  5. Wow Ms. Marvel is on fire http://www.ebay.com/itm/301368002712?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/MS-MARVEL-1-CAROL-DANVERS-1977-/291281701786?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item43d1be0b9a http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-Super-Heroes-Captain-Marvel-13-1st-Carol-Danvers-Ms-Marvel-7-0-F-VF-/331360461585?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4d269f6311
  6. Last message board I was on had members getting into fights with each other all the time.
  7. Legends 3 is correcting itself http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=251695278158
  8. Look, all I'm saying is we can have a nice chat without the shots. It's easy enough for everyone to get along while discussing books.
  9. Loved the Rogers stuff! I'm a detective collector, I will try and dig up some scans!
  10. More than CG? I think not. Wait... if you are baiting me, I would appreciate an emoticon. Sorry I did not clarify, I was talking about the most out of the " Age" forums. Modern does have it's fair share, but for some reason copper has almost as many, and they go on for pages. I believe it is because most of the posters in this section and modern are dealers. Which would make sense, since these are the comic ages with the largest print runs and most available copies out there for people to sell. A lot of ribbing, puffing and jockeying for professional advantage going on. (thumbs u -J. or comments like this... You insult people and expect no repercussions. Try and have a touch of class about you. There was no "insult" in my observational post in the least. -J. You mean, other than the fact that it's not even remotely true? Your opinion, thank you for sharing it. Carry on. (thumbs u -J. You cannot dismiss facts as "your opinion." You try often, but it always fails under scrutiny. You have consistently accused people who disagree with you of having ulterior motives, and while that is certainly true some of the time, for some of the people, it's not anywhere near as true as often as you have accused it. And it is accusing people of ulterior motives, as you have done, and as The Resurrection rightfully pointed out, that is the insult. And no, most of the people posting in this section are NOT dealers, despite what you wish to believe. Carry on. (thumbs u Um yeah, I think you (and the resurrection) read way more into that then you really needed to. And I've never accused anyone of anything on here. Unlike you, I don't try to make things (nor do I take things) personal on these boards. -J. I am pretty sure your "for professional advantage" comment can be considered a low blow by most. You have a very strong opinion, but when push comes to shove can't back up what you say. From my observations you are a pot stirrer. There was no need for your comments, and there is nothing positive added to the discussion from it.

  12. There are usually a few dealers who don't adjust prices quickly, or they just don't care as they would rather move the book.
  13. Sold a VF copy of Ms.Marvel #1 for $90.00. Also a VF copy of Dr. Strange 1 for $85.00!
  14. Have a vf to go up of ms marvel 1, msh 12 in f/vf, and a ms marvel 1 cgc 9.6 coming from Sarasota by Friday. Get them out!
  15. I am in the same boat so all in all probably around 3 months for slow track modern door-to-door? I'd say that's pretty accurate. Was two months earlier in the year for two different submissions of mine. Early August is probably the worst time of year to send in your books. my 8/1 mst shipped back last week. So not quite 3 months, closer to 2.
