  5. Guess that means EST would be 70-80 business days. Wow that is a lot of waiting. Means about 100+ calender days. My modern slow track from 8/1/14 is still sitting at received. So your economy books are likely at 80+, especially with NYCC coming up. Ya I have MST also from 8/1. Good thing I have nothing else to be sent in. Less I snag something for dropoff at NYCC Does anyone worry that the hot book you submitted in August wont be hot anymore when you get it back in November? Such a long time to have books sitting around. It absolutely is an issue with hot books. Anything hot or looking to get hot has to be sent in fast track. Which in turn increases the cost for the slab up to $35 or so with shipping (larger order). There definitely a complex "game" involved with picking the books worth slabbing and figuring the optimum slabbing method to make some cash at the end of it all. Yes yes it does. Relocate to Sarasota so that you don't need to worry about shipping Fast track a book, pressings, shipping. Sometimes it just makes sense to sell it raw for less.

  9. So, are we talking books or just poor grading. And the book is not a 9.8.
  10. If you need a 44 let me know, I usually have a few sitting around.

  12. I respectfully disagree. 1. It's a DC. 2. Shazam is a second-tier title, with a third-tier (at best) super-hero. :p 3. S28 may be scarce, but only because the title was a total FAIL (after the C.C. Beck issues), and in a nose-dive at the time. :p 4. Black Adam? Your kiddin' me right? 1. Thats stupid 2. Not talking about Shazam 3. And THAT is why it is rare. 4. You do NOT read moderns. Because he is probably the most popular DC villain these days, that is not in a Batman book. 52, World War III, etc, etc, etc.. Character is awesome.
  13. Shazam 28 has been a sleeper. I have owned about 12 copies, extremely hard to find in HG, and a GREAT chracter who is used consistently in modern comics. This book deserves the credit WAY more than Ms Marvel 1.
  14. That makes no business sense. Also, people like onsite grading. That would be a very unpopular decision. It will never happen. I will have my onsite books back long before my "fast track" from 8/5 I had to quote this, as my "on site" books did not get "on site" graded in Baltimore. So now I have about 50 books tied up with CGC. I am really bummed about this whole ordeal, I have almost 10K tied up now due to their lack of being able to turn books around quickly.. If the onsite books aren't completed in time, don't you just get a call from CGC the following week to arrange for shipping? As far as I know, any leftovers get brought back to Florida and get graded pretty much immediately  I do not know whats going to happen. But if they are not shipped this week, I expect my dealer discount applied. Well, that's how they usually handle this situation. Just out of curiosity - were you informed why your onsite books weren't actually done during the show? yes, dealer dropped off 3 long boxes and had them shut down as they hit the max limit of books they could get done. This was on Saturday morning.

  17. Like? Steve supremo for one. I'd call if I wanted some answers. It's not like CGC is going to respond here. The other is that guy who wants to stop onsite grading . Why would they stop from making more money. People will continue to submit despite their tats If you want a graded book in less time then submitt at a different site or or onsite or walk thru I would have to say the option of them hiring more people works as well. They are too backed up, and not doing anything to correct this. It's BS.
