  1. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7009771&fpart=1 Selling some horror mags in the GA/SA/BA will be adding books daily.
  2. Fast Track it is! Just pulled it out of a box of magazines I got in a collection. I remembered the cover, this thread is helpful for a magazine noob.
  3. link? I don't think you need one. Just look at the threads where the lowest amount of books are selling.
  4. Some of these new sellers are real A-Holez what is with the deal of trying to rip off forum members who arent aware of FMV?
  5. My thoughts are that 230 is a difficult book to come by in higher grades, and 121 is a rising star. 121 has all the making to be the bigger key than 225, 230, or 359. Most relevant character, with batgirl a close second.
  6. Nice freakin' copy!! Cheers speedy. Yours is pretty nice too very impressive. I have wanted to take the plunge into OA for a few months but don't know where to start. Great copy of a great book! Another Pre-Code buyer hits the market... GAAAHHHHH Welcome to the nut house.
  7. Wizard Philly is in 2 weeks, and offers on site grading. I believe whatever does not get finished by close of show goes to HQ and gets graded and shipped right away.
  8. It presents well. I love this book, but only have a 3.5
  9. yeah, I think there might be some call for that. Harbinger #1 isn't a major key, but it's much more of a key than New Mutants #98. Seriously? In some circles, NM 98 is THE key book of the copper age. That, and TMNT. I know if you are a fan of Deadpool, things may appear this way. But in general, New Mutants 98 is not THE key book of the Copper Age. There are many other books which may rank higher as critical, depending on your collecting focus. Especially Adventurers 1 Skeleton Variant. groin punch. Deadpool is the best thing marvel has ever come up with.
  10. Unless you are Mr.Illmannered you may find that many of (especially myself) do not mind the lower grade books. Being as you better come hefty at bid time if you want the HG stuff. Because the "guide" will steer you wrong. I love the pre-code horror and also the well read nature of the books. It shows people really enjoyed them.... Like Ed Gein
  11. Green Lantern 40 is probably my favorite GL cover.
  12. Ok, thanks! They are getting sold off, but I don't track the value of these books. But they were good reads. It's a shame Haunt didn't get good until I dropped it.
  13. Are any of these titles hot? Irredeemable Ant Man Annihilation (complete, new gotg) Nova 1-36 (complete) Infinity Gauntlet complete Haunt 1-16 I am just curious as to if these are desirable right now.
  14. I email them once a week. They are currently opening books of week October 27....... "Opening books"? Do you mean grading books? Which tier are you talking about? They opening the vault and taking a group of books out. then they to grading for a week, then to encapsulation for a week, then 2 weeks later they are shipped out... thats what they tell me. heck who knows, CGC is more private than the CIA Ehm ... you seem to be confusing the actual process. When books are shipped to CGC, they show up as "Received". CGC then checks the books and they go to "Verified". After that the books sit in the vault for a while - for how long depends on the tier - get pulled out for grading, then moved to the encapsulation room, and then back in the vault until they're ready to be QC'ed and shipped out. The time between stages depend on the tier and how back-logged CGC is at various stages - sometimes they switch from graded to shipped very fast, sometimes they don't. If your subbed your books back in November under either the Economy or Value tier, they are at least sitting in "Verified" right now - perhaps even scheduled for grading - and will most likely get graded within the next week (based on what other people have posted so far). Green Jacket Gold Jacket...Who gives a S-H-I-T on the process ....I dont have the books since Nov 3rd.... Im glad you can explain how sausage gets made... Fridays
  15. As well as the regular CGC back logged customers .
