This week I will be selling off my house of mystery slabs. It's not alot, but they are being released. Also a few ca books will be sold.

July 7th it should be done. And I will come back and say so. I work all weekend, so I may not respond immediately, but I certainly will. Like I said nobody should be on the list unwarranted, and I don't hold grudges like that. I seriously doubt anyone will ever have another issue with Eric. Our past transactions were flawless, it's a shame this whole thing went south.

I am glad to read this but I am confused because we already HAVE agreed on both a PM and a "reasonable" waiting period for reply to a PM. This is very old news but some folks are acting like it is all a new concept. From the original accusation, the deal went off in February and it was presented to all that multiple attempts were made for contact, therefore the reasonable waiting period had expired long ago. I agree, this is not a new concept. And to recall the original post... I don't believe this last part has been resolved, yet, therefore no removal. well I did complete the transaction, however Resurrection said in his PM to me that he would like to remove me from probation list if I stop slinging Mud. So I guess it is a case of, "You better be quiet and stop proving me wrong or I will make your life miserable" type of situation. secondly I only fell under the criteria of the list (at the time you put me on it) because you believed him and did not hear my side. granted I did owe him money for something I forgot I did. But maybe I should have put him on the list for not totalling me up in a timely manner like I asked him to just sayin That was the PM. Way to really try and skew my words. To be honest the conversations on both sides have been near unintelligble. Too much anger and too wordy. No one has just laid out a simple timeline and responded to it. The "resurrection removed himself from the PM" is odd and I still am not sure to how that fits in the chain. From what I have seen Chunky paid you the $50. You even offered to refund it. You said if he paid that would be the end of it. So how does this sit with you? Its an E-Check and has not cleared. So no, I will not do anything yet.

Sufunk. If I did something wrong then I should be put on, and nobody should say spit. But your theory is flawed as 2 very respected members who were in good standings ended on the list in my time hereMjacobs, he was a nice guy and posted often. End result he never shipped books and kept the cash. Same with brasseye. So no. It is not a good ole boys club. That is not an assumption anyone should make. Wrong is wrong.

One was started March 1st, and that was asking if everything was ok. And it was bumped today to show that I had not removed myself from the PM. So there are 2 that you could easily have replied in. This is ridiculous. I tried to squash this, you ignored that as well. Have fun dude. I give up, you talk about me like im some POS. Thats just ed up. Gotcha, no one will make any assumptions about you and you can still feel free to make all the (not so) veiled accusations about anyone else you feel like. Is that fair enough and non argumentative enough for you? Would anyone like the picture of the CGC bags containing the books with a label inside that says (ERIC AKA: Chunkybutt) The books were not relisted, sold, or offered. Seriously I am offended yet again. Only thing I tried to do was complete a deal and am faced with all these assumptions about me..

Goodness, Those Golf Road shows....paid my way through college and law school from those. I don't think I could handle it now. Being a dealer back in those days is part of what formed my expectations of people when they deal with one another. There were dealers and customers that would screw me over for $10 and then there were ones that would not take advantage with 100 times as much on the line. It can be $5 or it can be $50, or $5,000 there's right and there's wrong. I don't have a dollar threshold where I start to expect people to act the right way. It's the way he came in flying off the handle without actually knowing what he committed to buy and what he didn't is why I am so vehement. I can't stomach people who don't use logic or don't have commons sense. Why check your own posts when you can scream and yell instead? You can excuse a guy for forgetting or being disorganized but I can't see falling over myself in a hurry to cut someone slack who is in the wrong and then comes onto the board, without checking his own posts, and blames the seller who didn't do anything other than wait for 120 days to get paid for some books. If someone said I didn't pay them for something I would be searching my own records and posts and emails to see what I did wrong, I wouldn't be running in, hair on fire claiming I never did a deal with the guy when I obviously wasn't sure, and was wrong. There are people that treat deals on the forum as if they were optional or less real than a face to face deal. That's one of the reasons we have a probation list in the first place. If someone's a big enough man to come in hurling bombs and saying "burn the fukin books", then they should be able to apologize when they realize they screwed up and wasted our time and this seller's time and, insulted him without cause. once again you do not read the post before you assume. I said that "I cannot find the list of books anywhere" because I looked for them. Obviously he the seller has the list as they are in front of him waiting to ship. I asked him to give me the list and I would check it out. I did not respond to anyone for 3 months, not just him, I did not sign in on these boards for 3 months. After I came back I went right back to buying all kinds of books, I apologized to him before I knew if I did him wrong or not and he responds with a dollar amount and a threat. I do not respond for 27hrs to his threat and he has me put on the probation list. Guns were not blazing I simply stated how I was shocked to Jazzman putting me on the list in less than 24hrs without giving me chance to respond and shocked how Pat would do this after making a decent buck off me in the past a couple times. and yes I hope he does burn the books although I bet they appear in his next thread........ the real question is whether or not they were in other threads this past 3months I still have every single book accounted for if you want to check the threads vs. what I have Eric. And as I stated here and in a PM to you, that I have not removed myself from I would rather stop this whole thing.

That's what I'm wondering here. Was Chunkybutt sending a PM to nobody because at this point Pat had removed himself from the thread? No. They are still open save one from January.

I also asked Eric in the PM if we could end this krap. I have always tried to get along with everyone here. I do not like when these things get personal, unless it is Roy. Seriously, if it was a misunderstanding then I do not want him on the list. But I really just do not like feeling ignored. If it was a communication error, fine. But if I see you read a PM and not reply, I call it being ignored. I do still feel insulted about this whole thing though. I have never been unfair to ANY member here, and have always encouraged a positive community for collectors. Hopefully Eric will agree and we can squash this whole thing..

Fail. Only 1 PM was closed. 2 others were active. 1 that was never replied to, 1 that was where I asked if he was still taking the books. That thread is still open.

I agree with 2-4 days.

The posts were from Jan and feb. And I have 3 pm's over the months he didn't respond to. How much time is needed.

Looks like you've been patient enough and followed all the standard guidelines. He will be added to the probation list. I am utterly shocked here. I admit I am a new guy, a new guy who has completed dozens of transactions (all as buyer) with several board members. Every single board member has been immediately paid upon agreed price. Like I told ressurection in my first response, I do not remember ever getting into a deal with him, I remember being in talks with someone over some Thor books back in Februaury before I could not get back on the net. I asked what books they were and if he had a link to the post as I could find no links except our past deals (by the way all of which were flawless transactions) he responded with a price and a threat to put me on probation list. The price was $50 I think. I am not a welch, I have spent over $2,000 this month alone (well June actually) with board members, I am not a complainer even though I have been waiting over a month for books now from a certain member who has not responded yet and I have been waiting patiently for almost 3 weeks for books being held up by canadian post. The fact that I was not given 24hrs to respond to this kinda pisses me off. I am sending Resurrection his $50, burn the fukin books I do not want them. Here is the thread Eric. All the books can be found here as well. All you EVER had to do was respond to me and I would NEVER have done this. But when I see you read and do not reply I grow tired of feeling like I am hounding you. Could we add Chunkybutt to the list. I have been holding a stack of books for him since february. I have made contact with him recently, sent a total and he has not responded. I am tired of chasing the guy for the money. I will notify him of this post and allow him to chime in as per the rules. The guy is really nice, I do like him. But leaving me with little to no responses for so long brings me to this. If he completes the sale, I will return and ask him to be removed.

really??? that's just inexcusable, i wouldn't even want the book anymore. do you have a scan or image of the book prior to signing? Unfortunately no, I don't have a prior scan of the book. I wish I did, but I don't. So I guess you guys will just have to take my word for it. Chandler (with Desert Wind Comics) was notified by CGC about the book and he in turn notified me. They apparently found the book with the LRC bent over (which obviously created the crease). I told them to go ahead and grade it figuring I just paid Stan $50 to have it signed (and witnessed). The one thing that bothers me is that all of the books I had signed in Dallas were double bagged. The interior bag had a window cutout for each signature and had a backing board in it. Each book was removed from a larger (Golden Age) outer bag prior to signing. So each book never left the interior bag/board either before, during or after signing. How the hell any of the books got dropped or folded over is beyond me. Im sorry but that is just inexcusable.
