Yea, its kind of sad. But im excited.

This week I will be offering my Batman collection. It is almost 100% pedigrees in CGC 9.0 or better. I will NOT list teasers or highlights. I will scan in all the books, and list as a lot. I am only offering it here because, I honestly do like the people here. I will not be very keen to cut price or negotiate much. This is the beginning of my big push for a downpayment for my families first home. I am sad as hell to sell this run, but looking forward to not paying rent anymore. If they sell, I have other stuff slated to go.

I bought a flat rate box full of readers, still reading them! I have also done other deals with Ed, in most cases the books were undergraded. Its always good to do business with someone who is not trying to squeeze me for every last dime! Awesome as always Ed!

Mark is the best. Always has beautiful books at great prices, safely packaged, and all around great guy to deal with!!!

Hi Pat. You can't see it in the scan but there is a long non-color breaking crease that runs from the right edge of the front cover (up near the last Y in MYSTERY) all the way to the bottom edge. It looks like it should be able to be completely pressed out. There is also a small impact ding at the bottom right corner of the back cover. (thumbs u I can only guess what it will grade, but my assumption is the grade will likely not change. I can guess the max the book could be, but cant see the above defects changng much. Good luck though, its a nice book!

Mike, why are you pressing the 174? It doesnt seem to have any pressable defects?

Such a cool thread. And since it hasnt had enough action I figured I would give it a nudge. I actually started collecting BA DC Horror because of Sterling showing off his books, just some amazing covers to the books! Nowadays I have tons of readers and a few keepers for myself. I have been reading the Phantom Stranger almost every day for weeks now, and it is hands down the most enjoyable I have found so far. Anyone else reading these books??

I consider 70+ BA as well. Nice looking copy though!

This one is easy... we can't confuse popular/demand with "best"... in terms of popular/demand, action 1, 7, 10, 13 and 15 (not in that order, probably 1,15,13,7,10) easily take the cake same with tecs...27,29,31,35,36 with 33 close behind and 37 nipping on the heals too...in demand order (27,31,29,35,36) now "best" is so subjective...on actions, for example, I think most agree 108 is a great cover!...so many good ones Tec 168 is one of my top 3 Tec covers of all eras.. You are on pre-robin drugs my friend.

Im wondering if I want to restore it. Just such a great cover, and would be nice to be able to handle it.

I have been checking out this series. Would love to collect it one day. i've always liked it as well. i'm going to try to be a big boy, but i'm afraid that once it's here i may decide that life won't be complete until the run is as well, and put 1-5 on the ol' sig line.
