Cant wait to see this one with 2nd remarque. I had wanted to submit this same book for three remarques of wolverine, hulk and ghostrider (new ff), but cgc said no to doing more than one remarque per book.

No remarqued regular books so far. I assume they will have a signing for those with Arthur soon or possible even recently completed, but doubtful anything before 2024.
-
I wish Arthur would just update us once a month since people started submiting books in June and here we are almost in December. “ hey, i just finished 20 remarques, only 500 more to go!”

I get the impression that Art has been sent the blank covers to work on since he can take his time with them and they can be easily replaced if lost or damaged.
I have not heard of any cracked CGC books or remarques on raw books that are being shown.
I think you might be right about the blank covers. Sketch covers are more about the remarque, not as much the grade.

I dont think this is negative, just an observation for Arthur if he reads this or someone can make this suggestion to him. I am grateful he is doing amazing remrques although at this rate i dont see him finishing this year, And speculating that we might be getting all our orders cancelled in six months when he is burnt out on trying to do this high quality for everyone…. Nothing would frustrate me off more in the world.
But… how about save all the sketch blank covers for last and do all all the hundred or several hundred of remarque orders that are on covers he drew, that he could do Thirty or perhaps even Fifty in a single day? Rather than i dunno, 6 or 8 sketch cover blanks and going by orders in batches?photo example of cover remarque below. These are a whole lot faster to do than the sketch cover blanks i’ve seen of 4 peoples finished orders. I can also understand people frustration at such a long wait and seemingly a handful of sketches are done of hundreds and hundreds.
One dealer on ebay got 5 beautiful blank covers already and is selling magneto rn.

Thats a really good update Cgc gave, directly from the Signature series person, i appreciate that.
-
I really do not mind him taking the books home to sketch if that were the case, i am just worried he wont complete all the remarques at the rate he is going and he may not do remarques again for Cgc signings.
-
Anybody got remarques back yet? Please post them here for us! Thank you
-
Thank you for the update

CgcMike, are all the remaques finished or some? Thanks.

Arthur just cancelled his Paris, France convention appearance this weekend. Thats 4 or 5 days worth of work tiime right there, hopefully he might get to those sketches instead or catch up on other deadlines to make time for the cgc sketches this month or next. Just speculating.
-
Considering Mr Adams just delivered over ten, $2500 commissions for this past weekends NYCC, i’d say there isnt ny update yet as he’s probably spent the last few weeks doing those commissions. I am hopeful still we might get these by the end of the year since there are only a few conventions left he is attending this year.

I’m glad i got a bunch of remarques this time, Arthur is bargain priced for his remarques and i doubt he will do many again after this extend3d delayed signing. I bet his next signing will have a limited number of remarque spots and a higher price too, if him and cgc ever want to partner up for another signing.
Even i have to wait until early next year, i know i’m going to appreciate his efforts with the remarques. My gratitude Arthur, for the sketches. -

How hard is it to make a post to keep your customers informed?? So brutal.
At least an update section for Signature series books for each signer, telling us all:
#1the planned date of the signing,
#2 post if the signing has been completed,
#3 updates to signing that are incomplete (along with weekly updates) and maybe
#4 tell us how the signed/remarqued books are moving forward so i'm not looking at my orders twice daily looking for movement when i'm just WASTING my time because things have'nt even been done.

great! thanks for clearing things up!

Hi
The Senior Marketing Coordinator has stated for a fact, that the books are with us.
Mike
Mike, since you seem to be implying you're in the know and not what Matt just told me, May I ask when the books will start getting encapsulated? is it this month? thanks!
-
Matt, I posted your reply here to the Arthur Adams fan group on Facebook with 18k followers to spread the word on the delay on the books to keep everyone informed and patient. In the thread "Art Adams CGC Signing",
CGCMike posted: "So, I just reached out to someone that knows everything that goes on in the SS program. We have all of the books. The artist did not take them with him. We will get this wrapped up as soon as possible."
That seems contradictory to your reply to me, I don't think his updates in that thread have calmed people down to be honest. I reposted your reply to me there as well as it seems clearer to me what exactly is going on.
-
Got the above reply 6 hours ago, so we just have to be patient for these remarques. it's going to be be at least 6-8 more weeks to see any movement in these so I'm going to stop checking my CGC orders twice daily until December I guess.

Hello @melanrus,
Art was only able to complete a small handful of remarques, along with all of his regular signature submissions during his signing. Art is actively working on them, and as soon as his submissions come back we'll have them expedited through the system. We do not have an estimated timeline for these to be completed however because of the amount of time it takes for each of these remarques. We thank you for your patience.

Every single one of those remarques is just a killer! Absolutely.
