  1. You're reading way too many mystery comics Bronty... love that signed FF VII soundtrack! Did you get anything else signed? No games?
  2. I always pitied not having Nintendo Power while growing up, I only read a couple of mags once or twice but here in Portugal it's really hard to get a hold of them! I was sorry when I heard that it ended last year...
  3. Awesome games Bronty! Just out of curiosity, what modern videogame consoles do you own? (modern being this generation)
  4. Hope nothing too valuable (monetary value at least) was damaged...
  5. You were actually the first one that I thought when I created this thread! I remember seeing your collection in the Show your comic room thread and thinking that it was really nice! I hope to see some more pics!
  6. gotta love those old Windows games: Minesweeper, Jezzball, Rattler Race, SkiFree, Rodent's Revenge, Chip's Challenge... also the old adventure games from LucasArts were some of my favorites like Loom, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, etc. I never played Grim Fandango...
  7. That was my favorite game of this generation. I must have finished it at least 4 times... I can't wait for a new one!
  8. Great collection Yecul! I already talked about your game collection on the Comic Room Thread! Do you have any favorite Gamecube Games i might not have heard of?
  9. I played a few hours of Luigi's Mansion and it's been really fun! Too bad the game is so small, I'm more than halfway through in just a couple of hours...
  10. I had such a bad time playing the first assassin's creed (after being hyped for so long) that I never touched another one... Most people tell me that Assassin's Creed 2 is the real deal but I never got around to even try it... I just don't care much for that game.
  11. I vote Uncharted 3 Erndog! But if you want some other recommendations just PM me, I know a whole lot about Ps3!
  12. Nice one Bronty! I bet you have a great gaming setup! I'm not really into professional graded games, but I do like to see them! What is your favorite game system?
  13. Nice Setup Neurosis! (thumbs u There's a lot of games from those systems that still look great nowadays, even for non-retro gamers. Any particular system you want to play? i recommend SNES!
  14. Those are actually two of the few I got to play on the Gamecube, although it wasn't age appropriate Resident Evil was what made me like videogames when I was little so I played every single one of them except two (the ubber rare Resident Evil: Gaiden for Gameboy Color and the 3DS Resident Evil: Revelations). With that in mind I will still buy the Resident Evil games for the Gamecube ASAP! Resident Evil 0 Resident Evil Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil 3 Resident Evil Code: Veronica X Resident Evil 4
  15. All go first, Just bought one gamecube in a little street fair I was having near my home. Growing up (I'm 20y) I never had the chance to play most of gamecube's game since I owned a PS1 (and later a PS2) so I'm really psyched to have joined this one to my collection. The guy who was selling it didn't really know what to ask for it so I ended up bringing the game console plus the memory card plus Luigi's Mansion for about less than 15$ Pretty neat find...
  16. Since there is a movie thread and I know for a fact a lot of you guys are retrogamers/gamers I thought we should have a thread for sharing our latest finds, what are we playing and collections... Pour yourself a nice beer, share some photos and let your inner gamer nerd run wild!
  17. That's awesome yecul, I like your Nintendo collection (no wii though ?)!
  18. I HIGHLY recommend both. I don't know if or how they will tie into the series, but they're just great WD reads. I read The Rise of the Governor, and I enjoyed it, as well. The second book is being offered in the Pay it Forward thread!
  19. Thanks for the Help so far guys! I had already seen your blog Jeffrey, it was a very interesting read, I hope to see new posts every now and then (I'm a bit of a REH fan myself). I'm still a bit unsure about what books I'll try first, but I've always been a sucker for Horror and Fantasy so Weird Tales seem like a good start. I will keep an eye out on ebay! Thanks again guys.
  20. I actually don't find it that often... maybe once or twice a month, but I might be looking at the wrong threads!
  21. For this past year I've been thinking about taking the plunge and start buying some pulps... Now that the new year is coming I'm going to try my luck with this new collecting focus, the thing is I'm all over the place when it comes to buying them, besides ebay are there any good forums to find some of these? Where should I start? Do you guys have any tips? Thanks in advance!
  22. I finished Alice and Through the Looking Glass so tonight I'm starting a Lovecraft collection of short stories called H.P. Lovecraft Goes to the Movies.
  23. Started reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, I just read the first 5 chapters. Someone bought me a great hardcover with glossy paper perfect to show John Tenniel's drawings of wonderland! This will only be the second time i read this book!
  24. You did good yecul, it's a shame most people don't like to read manga AND comics (and European comics by the way). Most people just focus on one of these and loose a lot of great stories and art from the other two genres. From your haul I recommend: Rurouni Kenshin: You got the complete series and one of the best ever. As others have said don't worry about the quantity of volumes, you'll easily read 5 a day! Zombie Powder: Most people seem to like it, I thought it was ok, but you might want to try it at least one volume. Case Closed: I'd by the first 7 volumes for you if I didn't live in the end of the world, that series is around since 1994, it's one of those cult classics you either hate or love, I happen to love it. You've got Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater and D. Gray-Man, those will be easy to sell I guess since everyone who's into manga reads them... Their quality is debatable, but you might want to try and read at least one volume. Happy readings, and if you do feel like getting some more and need advice feel free to PM me, I read a lot of manga!
  25. No, it's on Wednesdays, back to back with Supernatural. I was confused because the episode is already available to download on my usual torrent site... It's never a good sign when the show gets moved so I was starting to worry!
