  1. Stoker's Dracula was GREAT! The way it's written you think there are really vampires on this earth. Interesting. You know I'm embarrased to even admit this but I haven't even read this yet and I've had it for over 6 months. DO IT! It's one of my favorite books ever.
  2. That's a whole lot of CGC books Kevin! You guys never seize to amaze me!
  3. Whats your interest? Sci-Fi, Horror, Historical Fiction ?? I have a pretty broad range of tastes when it comes to books, right now being the Halloween season and all I guess I'll be looking for some horror.
  4. Just finished last night one of my all time favorites: Dracula by Bram Stoker! I honestly don't know what I'm going to read next, I might need to do some book shopping!
  5. Those two would look great side by side with maybe a statue of each character underneath (if you have a whole comic room I mean). Either way you can't go wrong with it, Batman is my favorite of those two, but that superman is awesome!
  6. That's pretty cool! Must've been a tough decision between that fantastic Batman and that awesome Superman (then again your name is Wayne Enterprises so maybe not!)!
  7. It's downloading right now, I'll have to watch it tomorrow (4:30 am here). I only read a few of your replies, but I'm officially scared...
  8. I'd never heard of this movie before! It's downloading ( ) right now...
  9. It's the most desirable of all his hardcover releases. For a nice copy with a nice dust jacket I would expect $150 or so, unless you find one on ebay listed in an incorrect category. There have been some sets of Fancypants 1, 2 an 3 along with Chinatown that have gone int he $300-350 range, with the lion's share of the value being the volume 1. Buying the Vol 1 by itself will usually bring a premium. Still too expensive for my taste, I could get a good Omnibus for that kind of money... They should make individual hardcovers for each TPB... Anyway I'll have to keep my eyes open and see if I can snag one at a fair price. Thanks!
  10. Hey guys, I've been looking for a Fancy Pants Edition vol.01, I always knew they weren't cheap, but the only ones I can find on feebay are ridiculously overpriced. What on average am I going to spend in one of these?
  11. Can't go wrong with a comic room like that and Supernatural on the TV!
  12. Great room Colicab! I really need to start buying Berserk! I read the first 3 volumes but never wanted to dive into such a big series. I really liked it though.
  13. I think we would all like to have a comic room or house like Del Toros! Man thats some collection. He aint kidding about his collection of 1st edition horror books, I sold him a book on ebay, 'The History of the Devil', from 1813! I could tell you his ebay user name, but then I would have to kill you! That's awesome! Did he assume you knew who he was when he gave you his address or did he told you?
  14. I thought about starting a thread over this, but I think it will be better used bumping my favorite thread in Comics General! The collection of one and only MR Guillermo Del Toro. There's a lengthier video in a limited edition of one of his movies (i think it's in Cronos), but this was the only one I could find in youtube. Amazing house with a lot of great stuff! (that's not his house by the way, it's just one he has for his stuff)
  15. From experience, most Hellboy fans I know like a certain style of comic books, mostly pulpish stuff,. I also noticed that 9 times out of 10 they follow creators instead of characters. In other forums the Hellboy thread usually diverges to other topics such as movies, other similar style comics (The Goon, Rocketeer, etc), statue and merchandise collecting, etc. Also, with so many books Mignola related books coming out every month (BPRD, Hellboy, Baltimore, Witchfinder, Lobster Johnson and Abe Sapien) I was wondering why more people don't discuss it here... I do believe Hellboy has one of the most rich universes in comic books, there's a lot to discuss!
  16. There's not a lot of Hellboy fans here at CGC right?
  17. I always wanted to show this piece, but I never came around to take some pics. Lobster Johnson in all is awesomeness. This was done by a UK artist whom I met on CBR Hellboy forum. One of my favorite Hellboy related items (that I own)!
