Interesting thought.....that should make things pretty fun to watch if it happens I'm not sure, with carl still young and has only anger and survival on his mind, i think rick is going to find it tough to placate both groups, that is if either of them survive the hunters. I do agree that it will be a great storyline leading up to DC. on another note, how was the condition of the actual book? mine and all that were in the store were extremely wavy, almost like water damage wavy. j I noticed that my copy looked like it had water damage and was wavy. At first I thought maybe I had set it down on a water spot on the counter but I guess this was some sort of defect. Looks like I'm going to have to get another copy.

All of the theories are fine with me as long as its eventually explained and I know not everyone will be happy with the explanation. It would open an entirely new arc for the series. I'm sure he has it planned in the future since he has no plans on ending it any time soon. If Rick and his clan area able to survive for a year, then its almost certain there should be lots of Military/Law Enforcement members out there either banded together or on their own.

I agree, maybe it could have started on some military project but almost all bases are somewhat self sustaining for a short period of time and could easily be closed to the outside civilian populace.

Someone mentioned in the letter pages in #59 about how all Zombie movies end with either all of the living dying or the military coming to rescue them. My question (since I am in the military) is this: Why havent they seen any sort of military aircraft or personnel in the year that this has been going on? I know Kirkman likes to keep it somewhat realistic and its impossible that the military would have been taken out, there are just too many installations that would be nearly impossible for the zombies to get into, not to mention an Abrams tank would squish thousands of zombies without even slowing down. Just my 4 cents.

No contact whatsoever. I know of someone that tried to contact him through his myspace page with no results, and this was just a few days ago while Gilberto was online. I was willing to give him a little leeway at first but it just appears now that he took everyone's comics/money. That's just really sad. I received the one book from him in late September, a little over a month after I paid for it. Thinking back on it, however, there were some warning signs that I should have given more credence to. Just was reading this thread for the first time and came across this post. If anyone has found this guy would you let me know please. I have a couple of friends at Comicbookrealm that are looking for him to., on deals that he has reneged on. Got their cash and they got the silent treatment. Gilberto Torres is the name he gave over there. Thanks cookie1963 If I hear anything on him I'll let you know.

I'll help you out on this one. I dont know if you know he was in a bad car accident and had his car totalled and his arm broken. He ended up getting an infection in his arm and was in the hospital for a whole week just a couple of weeks ago. I spoke with him on the phone a few days ago and he's just barely able to get around the house. He did mention that he was unable to do anything with comics (understandable) and that he'd get back on to work everything out. Hope that helps!
