A quick Google - because I never heard of him either - turned up Wally Wood apparently calling him a liar for making claims about THUNDER Agents.
Excerpt from THUNDER Agents book
But Comic Book database does show some writing credits.

If you collect early Fox books, you have likely seen this ad before.
Does anyone know if any Fox Comicscopes still exist? I'd love to see what one actually looked like.
Let's all go to the movies. Pretty cool box and this one looks to be in nice shape.

Injury "Forces" Strange Tales Sale
Well, I was out and about the house building a new fence when I stepped to grab a board and tripped/slipped on the compressor hose and tweaked my knee There have been a few harbingers regarding working around the house lately, like this little gem...
Yeah, that tear in the jeans is from a chainsaw jumping. It cut through the jeans, the pocket, and my underwear. I was extremely lucky that it didn't hit flesh.
Anyhow, it seems that any projects around the house are on hold until my knee heals up a bit. I couldn't go to work with a bum knee and can't do mess around the house, hence the injury "forcing" me to go through my books.
I will be listing Strange Tales 106, 107, and 110 to 116 and probably a few other books - perhaps a few others likely on Tuesday since about the only thing I can do today is go through my comics. Life's rough
Dude, we are taking away your chainsaw privileges. That is one serious close call.
Glad it worked out allright. And now the pants are probably $200 designer jeans.

That Military 1 reminds me how much love I all the Blackhawk titles.
Isn't one of the most likely reasons for the demise of some of these simply what goes with Marvel coming into their own. Kids who were reading Boy Commandos in 1943 had pretty good paying jobs in the early '80s. Kids who grew up reading Spider-Man where flipping burgers. Now those burger flippers are getting a real check and collecting their childhood memories.
Some of the great characters that never went away still have awesome followings but few nowadays could tell you much about The Newsboy Legion.

Here are a couple I purchased because of my time spent working in newspapers.
On the Capt. Marvel, it is interesting that they managed to cram a Bulletman story into a very small book. A handful of these types of books in very high grade seem to be popping up from time to time recently.
