  1. Well, I'm glad to see that my 7 copies of the Chew trade helped to push it to #1 on the sales chart for the month. It's actually really cool that the TPB reached #1 on the Diamond list considering it came out the last week of the month.
  2. and Kudos to EvilAsh for giving this thread a title that can be used in perpetuity
  3. I wouldn't normally dig through old posts for someone, but I'm doing anything tonight to keep from working on my homework. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3564481&fpart=1
  4. There have been a couple of threads about this in the Comics General. It is something that is happening.... and sucks!
  5. Yep, you've mentioned that a couple of times already in this thread In the vast majority of cases, when it comes to later printings, rare (eg. lower print run) does not equal desirable. Feel free to bring up the Batman 608 2nd print again, but that's the exception, not the rule. Do you want your stuff?
  6. If you recall, the second print of #1 had what seemed like a staggard release across the country (US) for some reason. Most shops didn't get it the week it was solicited to come out although some did. Other stores including those around me received huge numbers of copies over the following two weeks of #2.
  7. Gav, Michael's got you on this one. 1st print was a little over 3K. Second was around 7K.

  9. Kudos to sniderwj for some random marvel books. Very well packaged and got them out to me quick (thumbs u and a HUGE kudos out to BeachBum for a stack of Deadpool 9.8 slabs. Made me very happy today!
  10. Vin and I have agreed to an equitable solution. I will most definately let it be known when to book arrives. If he gets things squared away with all parties, I believe the guidelines state he can be an active buyer/seller again.
  11. Mine's got a pretty bad spine wrap but it is there.
  12. No. I'm late to the party. You can pick the later prints up pretty cheap on eBay, or the trade covering the first story arc is coming out soon today (thumbs u
  13. No. I'm late to the party. You would do better picking up the trade. Only $10. As a matter of fact, thecollector is getting signed copies next weekend for $10.
  14. Don't know how many of my fellow Chewsers visit the signature forum but thecollector is going to be at the signing on the 5th and accepting submissions. Both Layman and Guillory will be there. thecollector is also offering to get TPBs signed by both for pretty much the cost of the book plus shipping. Just wanted to throw out a friendly FYI for everyone.
