  1. I actually really dig the idea of auctions here. To many books just sitting not selling. I think Snake Eyes has some really good points though. I agree very strongly with his 2nd and 4th points.

  3. Gav - as TJ just requested I do on his twitterstream... I'm going to go fist myself.
  4. great question. She and I have PM'd a few times about how the database is set up, how labels are created and how we sould be able to generate sets based on a search criteria. I think in the end, her (CGC's) position is that security is not where it would need to be to be able to have that kind of access. Which means, even though it exists, searchable info, she has to create everything due to security of the census. Makes sense.
  5. Just got back home from work Michael If by work, you mean drinking till you hit the floor!
  6. Dover - You might not be the one to ask this, but maybe Gemma can chime in. Has there ever been any discussion as to CGC possibly letting some of us chat board trolls potentially help Gemma with the registry? I know some of the forums are moderated by users. Just didn't know if this was a viable option for the registry and I know we inundate Gemma with requests constantly.
  7. The first one was good, but after that (to me) it seemed to just turn into mutilation for mutilation sake. Not my favorite franchise...
  8. Yah, imagine this but with no helmets on. Blood was literally pooring out of nose and right eye. It was BAD.
  9. ditto I'm back at work, full time, starting today I'm back too. Nothing like hitting the ground at a dead sprint. I only have 468 e-mails to wade through ... and I got to spend the night (at least until he was discharged at 2a) at the emergency room where I took my buddy at 3:00p yesterday afternoon when he took a shot to the face during our flag football game that the doctors determined broke his face in 4 different places... fun stuff
  10. can't wait to get back to work so the e-mails can start again
  11. I think I'd rather go hang out and be a hooligan with Gav...
  12. Not trying to be cool, but I kind of saw it coming too. When Layman said he saw the series going for about 50 issues, I knew we were way to far into the series to not have been introduced to Tony's nemisis already. SPOILER: You can't have two prominent figures in the story with the same exact power and have them not end up being at odds with each other.
  13. Wonder where I could get my hands on one of those. Us Limeys don't get much of a look in on those sorta things If you want, I can order one with DCBS when I place my order. Just let me know... That's my backup plan. My LCS is finding out if they can get them for me and if they can't I'm going to get them ordered on my monthly DCBS order too.

  15. Wonder where I could get my hands on one of those. Us Limeys don't get much of a look in on those sorta things I'm working on locking down 7 copies for myself and board members. Can't promise it will happen. But I'm trying my hardest.
  16. Shhhhhh I wasn't posting anything about it until I was sure I had some copies locked up
  17. Not trying to be cool, but I kind of saw it coming too. When Layman said he saw the series going for about 50 issues, I knew we were way to far into the series to not have been introduced to Tony's nemisis already. you're posting on a comic book message board. i don't think you have anything to worry about. i am glad to see that given the 147 page thread, there are 6 actual readers of the series here. no concerns on that Yup, I actually read it and really enjoy it so far. I do collect it as well.

  20. I'm having to catch up on all of my classwork right now, but to give a short answer, our resort had double-ply angel-soft... and LOTS of it!
