So what do you think for a current running tv series that could fit in the realm of great is? The Office? 30 Rock? Breaking Bad? Lucky for me I can get into a lot of crime shows like csi,ncis,etc otherwise tv today is lacking greatness. Married with Children and Seinfeld are my most recent favorites so its been a while since I had a drink of greatness on the tube.

That was my book, you are right someone got a good deal on it. As I stood with it, I was into it for just under 12k. The como was 0% to me so it wasn't total devastation. I certainly expected better. Oh well I will live. Hope that 5.5 gets a good karma bump when I run it back. so, you sold your 7.5? should I replace it in the club with the 5.5? That's where I'm at, so yes.

I just got that 5.5 at HA a few moments ago, I think it's a goog CPR candidate.

I hear they are installing a revolving door in the AF15 Club.

I expect to see more I just don't expect to see them in the next few sales. I'm thinking a sweet spot for a 2.0 is 2800-3200$ right now just based off the price of other available low/mid grades. What I do like the best here in this discussion is when I offered my 2.5 up for sale a month ago I was laughed at by several people with my price point before it sold. All the while I was quoting the 1.5 that sold for 2500$ there was no end to the people telling me that was a fluke based on the signatures inside the cover. I certainly wasn't laughing. I always have said that in the lowest of grade, its all about eye appeal. Is eveery 2.0 worth 4k now, hell no.

Ther are reasons why Hulk 1 is often compared to AF15. One thing thats can be compared and is evident with AF15 is that the fuse is lit at both ends. Yes obviously high grade books will sell at mind blowing figures, but also down in the bottom where there are more people who can afford to drop a few grand you will see some fantastic sales like the one mentioned. Expect to see more

pretty sure it's not another AF15. Depending how much he's adding in along with that 1-6 sale, I'd think it's safe to say he's on track for a better Hulk1. Since he's posting here, just sayin'

If you're replying directly to me ... I'm pretty sure I said 10 days for the buyer to pay, not 30. :shrug: As for the price of the comics, or how good the deal is, I'm thinking that's irrelevant. Not at you directly SpeedyD, as I am sure you are quoting what I have also read. I'm just feeling the insult added to my self inflicted injury.

30 days? . I put my books up at auction here for $1, the have a gude value of about $600 and they sold for $50, I also stated that I would only charge1/2 price for international shipping. The weight of the lot of books forces me to ship priority $33 and I am paying out of pocket $16 of that actully. What I am saying is that Tis is a smoking hot deal for the noob and now the no response thing. 30 days? Now if I received a request like, can I pay you in a month I would certainly be so accomadating. Having heard nothing. Keep in mind I did not run a sale and get GPA+ on a book and made a good flip, so waiting for an imaginary deal isn't so bad. I am losing so big in this deal and having to wait 30 days is just wrong on top of it.

Looking for a pretty good answer about a situation I'm in at the moment. Hope someone can guide me through it as expected here on the boards. Last Thursday I auctioned off some books here to a new boardie (Kat5040) and I sent an invoice/messege. I got a response stating that the books would be paid for on Monday (2 days ago) This never happened. I sent a messege Monday evening around 10:30 pm est and til this moment it's been unread. Whats my obligation? How long do I hang and wait and when is this deal dead. I personally wouldnt mind not even selling the books. I just spoke through PMs with Annihilus and Zonker, both have open unpaid issues with this same noob boardie. The outlook isn't hopeful and I wish to move on and consider my deal dead. Should this noob come back to earth next week/month and say that Junk welched on a deal...well I dont want that over my head. Help me out here please. Thanks again. Chris

That's a damn good deal you got there if I say so myself. Can you get anymore blue chip than Hulk #1 right now? I did not choose Hulk1 as my favorite book, it actually chose me.

14-25 k and no, it hasn't slowed down, prices are getting higher every day. GPA sales are 5 years old,would venture a guess that 8.0s are in the 35K area. I would agree, but he did ask for GPA sales. I'm glad he didn't ask for turtle soup. Junk you just bought a 7.5,if you don't mind me asking what did you paid for it? Hard to say because it was a bit o cash and a book i owned cheap. The price tag that Bob Storms put on it is 27,500. I'm into it for less than half that.

MCS grades are very strict and consistent. At this level of condition it's all about eye appeal anyway. Price is getting out of hand though isn't it. For sure, now looks to be a great time to unload any extra/investment copies folks have before prices starten to soften later this year after the big recent run. If they soften... Hulkagra !
