I was quite surprised to snap up a copy of Popeye #1 off the shelf at Newbury Comics yesterday. It was yet to be touched and was hiding in "P" section. From what I gather here on the boards is that this book is HTF

I'd like to own a copy like this, sell it to me

So today I could not wait to fill up the rack and set it outfront of my shop. A man came in with his daughter and bought 3 books, and 2 other guys stopped in a different times and each bought a book. Not bad only $5 in sales, but without this rack I can guarantee it would have been $0. I am so excited about the rack and how it created 3 new comic book buyers for my shop.

This little spending spree goes back more than a week and I am still waiting for my ASM14 from MCS

Well I snapped this up at the flea market yesterday, heck it dont spin, but For $20, I just had to have it. I plan to fill it with dollar books and throw it out side at my store. Should be an eye catcher

Yea its my favorite SA book even though I am a huge X-Fan something about the Hulk 1 and FF 1 covers just push them over the top. Now if I can sell my FF1 and pick up a higher grade with some better color I will be happy. upgrading a Hulk1

Knowing how HA sales have been playing, expect that book to sell 1000-1200 and possibly higher Towards the end of the year I'm gonna find myself a nice 6.0 or so. I think the book could certainly achieve 4.0 like I said, I plan to have it pressed and slabbed. I don't think it is out of the question that the book grades higher. Time will tell. I liked your copy but couldn't get past that top right corner or I would have made a play for it. I should have it in hand hopefully by the weeks end. I want to have it graded here in the "buddy spare a grade" thread. You will like it, it's got nice eye appeal.

great book to own. It's second only to my Hulk 1 for me. The copy I bought is raw, I will more than likely send it out to be pressed and slabbed.It will be next in line to my Hulk 1 in my sig line.
