  1. If this was my book, I would have it slabbed by CGC. If the book is that nice and it gets a 9.6 green label, one can assess the situation as CGC downgraded it from 9.8 due to the writing on the cover. You see this with TMNT#1. A green 9.6 can be considered 9.8 technical grade and then the standard tech downgrade. Secondly you have to wonder why someone would fake this persons sig. He’s just the guy you wouldn’t fake. I’m convinced there are more real sigs than fakes on comic books signed by the lesser named talent. In the end I would enjoy that in a 9.6 green, knowing it is better than the assigned grade.
  2. An 8.0 ow Clinked last night for 3700+. Talks of BPII starting to factor?
  3. Hated to part with this gem. Glad it’s found a great home.
  4. It’s such a BS excuse. And it’s definitely becoming the go to. Just blame it on the kid.
  5. Here we go again. Another “my son did it” cancellation request seconds after the book was won today.
  6. Tomorrow my auctions are ending and so also ends the 8% Ebay Bucks deal. Perfect timing.
  7. My first, my only and hopefully not my last old Action.
  8. You’re quite possibly committing mail fraud. I’m no lawyer but helping the buyer circumvent fees and duties just isn’t worth it. Funny they never ask beforehand but always after the auction ends or after they’ve bid.
  9. I’m going through this right now. Buyer is trying to convince me to sell outside of the Global Shipping Program. I have no need or reason to sell internationally and I’m happy to sell within the states. However this buyer would have no shot at buying from me if not for the GSP. I like the ease and assurance of the transaction so I utilize it. If ones country is charging a duty and one of its citizens finds it a problem to their own self, then they could simply compensate their bid or not bid at all.
  10. With the amount of scams, hacked accounts , credit card charge backs etc, a seller has much to be concerned about. I know the fees are a big turn off to international buyers but on the brighter side as a seller, one only needs to ship to eBays facility in Kentucky. So is that it for the seller? Tracking to Kentucky and we’re out of the woods? eBay is now handling it from there right? If the buyer is a hacked account does eBay deal with it? I’ve never had an issue. Anyone ever have a horror story using Global Shipping?
  11. I’d buy a leap year date stamp.

  13. My auction ended today for a NextMen21 CGC9.8 for $330. And immediately I get this message My response was do whatever you want. And then I canceled the deal but damn I hate getting my time wasted.
