Got a bunch of these recently here are a few highlights

If there's a door leading to this backroom, maybe you should consider adding a dead-bolt lock as well. That way you can keep it open when you're at home but locked when the daughters have guests over. No door or even a wall. Its all open. Didnt want it to look boxed in. Guess I'll have to build some cabinets. I looked at some of the pre-fab ones at Lowes and Home Depot. Just chip board garbage, and I dont like the way they look anyway. DRX Have you considered locking file cabinets?

If I had money owed, I would prefer it be send to me than to send the cash to the person who ripped me off and hope they feel differently this time. If a daddy doesn't pay child support, they dock the pay and get the money to the right person. They don't keep giving him the money so he can learn his lesson. I agree, to hell with trying to teach someone a lesson who acts like that. I think at this point its more important to get everyone squared away.

I want to have an epic 'count like' thread to move about 6-10 boxes of books all copper/modern.A box of hulk, 2 boxes of xmen, a box of spidey, Some full modern runs/minis Starting the madness of scanning now. I will scan them but not grading them(unless requested) or looking them up for prices. All books will be listed at 1.50 each and discounted until they are sold So at least stop by and make fun of me for wasting my day

I was contacted by a new board member who had also been stiffed by whovianone, multiple promises for payment etc then some read PMs with no replys. I told the new bordie to post here but he is a lil i guess. If people have problems with this same buyer , they should come forward now

We're waiting on receipt from chainball (per communication to the buyer) and TVZ's 30 days to make good haven't expired yet - hopefully, he'll man-up. I've received an email from Paypal stating a package has been shipped plus a confirmation email from chainnball. I'll post when the book arrives. Sorry I never posted this earlier, I haven't been able to get to the PC since Friday.

I also believe TVanderzwaag (sp) and chainnball were cited as candidates but im not sure if TV is eligible or if the chainnball thing was serious.

If the shoe was on the other foot, or the condom was on the other shaft, or the sprout was on the other brussel, and you had sold a $25000 book to Filter you would have been on this thread after a couple months complaining about a buyer who had failed to pay the agreed downpayment or any following payments and demanding to be compensated for your costs. Don't bother to return comicseekers' $20, you've already shown your position on costs and responsibilies and it's too late. More that 5 months went by without any payment to Filter despite your word to send those payments. We don't care about the Avengers #1 hostagegate. You should have been on the probation list long before you paid for that book.

I can understand family comes first. Only problem is it takes all of about 30 seconds to write and send a check. Maybe 5 minutes to call and say you cant do the deal. To the list!
