  1. No. If done properly and not to excess. CGC will not penalize a book that has been wet cleaned with Peroxide. The trick is to remember that a little improvement is better than an extreme, oddly bright white. You never want whites to be whiter than they were the day the book was new.
  2. Personally I would focus more on a thorough cleaning. As far as eye appeal, a cleaner book makes more sense than attempting to correct the alignment issue. The black line along the left edge is straight and the white space is consistent from top to bottom, which makes the book look aligned.
  3. If you are extremely careful there are methods you can try to either remove, or at least minimize, severe Newton Rings. I myself have received books with Newton Rings as severe as what you show, and I have been able to completely remove them. There are many YouTube videos on this subject, so I would suggest you check out a few and decide for yourself if you feel confident in attempting any of the methods shown. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I'd love to hear how things work out.
  4. I've checked for sales data/FMV info from various popular sites and apps. But I can't seem to find a source that tracks sales of CGC Gold label Pedigree slabs. Do you know of any source for this information? An example is attached. Brian
