From what I remember, Jim in season 1 was dying because of the bite. He had a fever too If I remember correct. So the bite can kill faster but everyone probably does have the virus that cause to ressurect.

These last few weeks have been great. The finale looks like it will be spectacular. Not really looking forward to kill bill michonne though. Hopefully her role becomes like T-dogs as the as the 3d season goes on (no offense to michonne fans but I am getting a little tired of seeing all women being portrayed as badasses who can kick arse, whatever happened to the "help save me" female roles?). I Really want to see more city action (if they stick to farms and prisons forever I could lose interest) and what happened to Merle? (im sure many fans want to know) Its best they dont make all of season 3 take place in the prison IMO. Any info on new webisodes?

The only similarity I see is the sword. I suspect her fighting skills will pale in comparison to Kill Bill.

Then till the 3d season comes , I can enjoy the second season of game of Thrones and looking forward to true blood cause if the rumor is true Christopher Lee might make some cameos (hopefully as the dark lord). I think you are crazy for not liking Michonne, but then again you have made it pretty clear you are not the biggest fan of the books and direction Kirkman has gone with them from reading your posts.

I did like reading the stories. Its just that there are some parts of the books I didnt like. And comparing it to season 1 from the show no contest IMO. The 1st season was fantastic. The second season is good but has its flaws like last weeks episode. The first episode was great though.

My problem with Michonne is that it would change the way I look at the show in the negative way. Realistic people trying to survive , and there comes ninja woman who fights like alice from kill bill.

I want some unkown actor to play the governor. Is there going to be a govenor, I havent paid attention if Kirkman has mentioned this before.

 

Kirkman has confirmed there will be no Governor in Season 2.

 

The guy who played Machete would make a good governor.

I think the second season will have them just getting to the prisons and taking out walkers.

My money is still on Shane dying this season...

 

Which would be a BIG mistake IMO. And I'm not only saying that because he's my favorite. I just thing he adds another element to the show, instead of the other cookie-cutter characterizations.

 

There are just so many different angles you could do. Have him go full on "villian" if you want; have the group fracture and some go with Rick, some with Shane, etc.

 

Love him or hate him, you have to admit Shane is a good character. It would be a waste to kill him just because the majority of the viewers dislike him and his actions.

I like Shane as well. And I think that in a real world situation you'll probably have more Shane types than Rick. There's more sheeple out there than leaders and the most cunning/diabolical would take full advantage of any collapse to take over and the sheeple would baaaaaa on behind them.

 

And that's how a guy like the Govenor is created.

Oh no, not michonne, Im sick of these Kill Bill type of women in films always beating up guys. I really want to start seeing the old style of female characters in films again. Walkers don't rise regardless, we have seen people who just outright died and never changed.
