Of course it points to Hershel but I am wondering... That would be to me. Have all the Greene family members been in the dark about the search for Sophia? Didn't one of them ask to help in the search a few weeks ago? I would think Maggie would have said something to Glenn as well. If Sophia's in the barn, it only works if it's been a secret from members of Hershel's family too. Maybe only Hershel knows and doesnt have the heart to tell them? Im not sure if the rest of the family knows. Well hat do you folks think ,real or fake? didnt know there was a tv thread for this, just wanted to know if it was legit

And if the show takes its cues from the comic, you'll never get any of that. Well time will tell but in the meantime.... is the whole world ready for next weeks shocker when Sofia emerges out of the barn during the end of the show?

Uhhh...and that would be bad because...? Maggie Count me in the camp who likes the TV show, but who doesn't think it holds a candle to the first 48 issues of the comic. Well I disagree. I finished the first 48 issues and I still have to say the show is better than the book( except for yesterdays episode which was average at best) .the comic basically keeps going forward with this apocolyptic new world withno turning back. The show (at least last season) showed a little hope that things could go back to normal (if the cdc would have succeded). Much better scenario for me at least. Now I hope the show has episodes where we can finally see what happened with Merle and Morgan and his kid. I also want to see what happened to government officials like the President and so forth.But more so Im really hoping for prequels. I want to see how some major cities were overruned, how the military and police couldnt stop them. How Jenners wife came close to a cure and then became a walker. Stuff like that

The governor is a good villain. I only meant he looked like the joe character the best parts with him were when he cut off Ricks hand the scenes with his daughter, and when he gets shot and thrown into the dead for food. Didnt like it at all when he got beat up and cut up, only because Im tired of these Kill Bill type of women characters in comics and in movies!

Totally disagree..the TV show is good but doesn't even come close to the first 48 issues of the comic. The CDC storyline was mess! They are both great. The CDC visit worked for the show. I like that in the comic after all the stuff they go through they really never try to figure out why just how to survive living in the new world and trying to make it day to day. + Bazillion!!! The everyday person struggle through this is what makes it interesting. Who cares about what the leaders/Government is doing? This would be the real struggle. Kinda like how season 2 is now and that is why season 2 kicks season 1's But nothing I repeat NOTHING in the WD storytelling comes close to the first 48 issues of the comic! Done with my Ah, the old "the book is better comment." Of course it is!!! Thats my whole problem with the comic actually. With no cdc ,thats it. The world is pretty much done and they have to keep surviving every day. This mad max type of new world doesnt do it for me. And if people are complaining about the dragging of sofia in the show then what do you call the whole prison story line? A never ending saga? With Major Blood (the governor) trying to get revenge invading the prison. The story should include something where the President and government officials are in a sceure underground location of some sort and there are some place in the world where the infection was under control and there is some type of government still. And thank God its on AMC or else if it were HBO we would be suffering with a whole love story between Glenn and Maggie , and there sex life. The comic is too vulgar too. If you don't like it move on. This entire comment makes me believe you have missed the entire point of the story. I didnt say the comics werent good. The stories are good. Im just enjoying the show more than the comics, in this case. In the case of just surviving in this new world (as it is in the comics) , it doesnt do it totally for me. Iliked the cdc idea because you had the scientists trying to save the world from total catastrophy. Better story. For me at least.

Just got into this whole Dead series in recent weeks. I actually had the time to pick up the huge volume 1 to 48 set. And finally finished reading it the other day. I must say though that I like the TV series more. Even though the show has been changed around. The comic lacks some elements which I enjoyed alot on the tv series. The whole CDC thing last thing was spectacular. I am very glad they added that. Hopefully there is more of that in the future. And flashbacks of how the whole thing went down. They need that. The web episodes were amazing. I hope there are more to come and longer. Honestly I hope they do a season of prequels. Focusing on how this all went down. How the governments lost control, how cdc was frantically trying to find the cure and how many of these characters first reacted when this was going down. What I hope they dont drag on the show is the whole prison thing. And the governor reminded me too much of Major blood of GI Joe (they way they made him look). They really should just keep this storyline in the comics.
