  2. FF 50 (unrestored) probably no better than a 2.5 (but most likely 2.0) offwhite pages price $24 If someone could flip the pics upright (since I can't do it frommy phone) it would be appreciated
  3. The only defects on this book are the top right corner and on the left side towards the bottom near the spine. Nothing else I see.
  4. Sorry about the pic , I'm uploading these from my phone and can't rotate X-men 266 in about the 8.0ish range white pages price $22

Payment by paypal (pm first please) check, MO. gets priority as always. First up is a really nice copy of Astonishing tales 25. I believe it is in the 9.2 range with fantastic white pages. Price is $45
  6. One of my favorite titles from the 60s. Especially the Ditko Dr. Strange run.
  7. I asked so many people but no luck. want to get a high grade copy before its price goes too high.
  8. Man I never get sick of this thread to both of you
  9. totally love this cover but I cant seem to be able to find a 9.6 or up copy.
  10. Congrats on your two more acquisitions Ryan. Me personally though, if I could afford 3 of them I would have saved some more $ and wait around just aqcuire a sup page.
  11. I love Joker covers. Without doubt after the preRobins they are the best of the whole Detective run.
  12. Love that book. Hi, Peter. Jeff. And thats probably the greatest copy There's actually one copy that is graded higher -- the Allentown copy. (espeically if RHG owns them both, I've honestly forgotten) two copies, and both the highest graded?
  13. very undervalued. one day it will get its due. wow a 8.0 copy is unbelievable. I wonder what it will get when I send it out. I think with a deatched cover maybe somewhere in the range of 1.0 to 2.0 , my gut feeling 1.5 but we will see
  14. How dare everyone allow the tec thread to be on page 8 there should be against that... anyway, Im just glad one of my old babies is coming home soon
  15. AF 15! Spidey is easily one of the top 2 comic characters of all time (with Bats). The Lantern is a great book and Id take one any day but a AF 15 in high grade. wow. Tons of collectors out there who would die to have it. and even much more people out there who just want to have a copy of the first Spidey.
  16. totally understand that you would love a piece of history. But 1) there is no superman on the wrap therefore it falls in another tier of this "piece of history" category. 2) a cover for Action 1 (or 3/4ths) will always go for a substantial amount of money because there are people out there looking to complete their coverless copies (in some way). People pay good money for key GA covers they need to complete their coverless. Just a few years back a Tec 35 cover sold for good money because the person needed it to complete the coverless copy he had. That was a good move of course. In the end though I hope you are happy , and I will be even happier for you
  17. Nice thread Ryan. and each to his own but I have become kind of an anti-incomplete guy. Every time I had own something incomplete (especially a book without a cover) I grew to hate it and couldnt wait to unload it. But if you must....The trick is always to get the cover first and then (at least) you have a better possibility of landing a coverless somewhere. If you have the patience of course, which I do not. As for wraps, not for me. Hope you really enjoy this one... Now lets see some more Action covers. From the non-sup covers, that 3 is jaw dropping. wish I had one
  18. Finally people who appreciate this title!!!
  19. Lets just say that I am currently in the middle of a transaction, the details of which I will be happy to share on the boards the moment it is complete. What I can tell you is that I changed my display-name because I no longer own a copy of Detective Comics #33; and preferred to update my display-name to something a bit more generic to the Batman character while still retaining my love for GA Tecs. (thumbs u Now that you're selling the Tec 40 and going for a FF 1, you're not changing your name to FF1Kid, are you? I was going to suggest a new name...BaxterBuildingBastich...but I don't think he'll like that. I'm with Yannis on this one. The boy needs some serious intervention and maybe rehab for his Silver Age addictions. Perhaps something as stern as what happened to Christopher Moltisanti on the Sopranos. im keeping out of this I think he would go for the first two Bs but not the 3d
  20. awesome MrBedrock , I really need to change my career asap in order to get rich I need my pathetic collection to grow a little
  21. How about this one? Second nicest after only the Church copy..... Wow! Great copy
