  1. But in all seriousness... that second thread is great! http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=527732&fpart=1 Thanks for posting. Some cool info and seldom seen covers. I vaguely remember seeing it at some point, but had forgotten it.
  2. Nice book but does it count as Bronze Age ? It does in my collection... I really don't think it is important for everyone to agree on the stopgaps for the Ages... There are certain series that I consider Bronze (Witching Hour being one of them) that just happen to have started a little early, but are still solidly Bronze in my eyes. I do not, for instance, consider Creepy to be a Silver Age magazine, even though, chronologically, it is. It is either the last hold over from the Atom Age, or the first forerunner of the Bronze Age, but bears no resemblance to anything involved in the Silver Age. End
  3. Alright, cool! Maybe I can get a few more before it goes live
  4. Yeah, but can you snuggle with it? I don't think he is the "snuggle" type. ... did everyone save that image? Still makes me laugh every time I see it Is there a Registry for Dave Stevens covers yet? Or do we need to petition for it? And how the hell am I gonna get my Glamour International slabbed? It's 12X12X1!
  5. Great run of Jumbo, alanna! Thanks for posting. I am partial to the Whitman covers as well, but the whole run is gorgeous!

  8. Are you talking a CHANCE of a grade drop, due to damage in transit, by artist or other? or are you saying that looking at the book, you're pretty sure that it is not going to be graded as high? If A, then yeah, it's worth it, as it's just taking a chance, but if it's B, than no, as it is probably an accurate forecast.
  9. Those don't belong here, they belong at my house!
  10. Hi, guys (and any possible girls lurking...)! I am new to the Silver Age market, as I've always avoided it due to a dislike for Ditko and Kirby... Here recently however, I have really started to get into DC Silver, namely the Brave and the Bold! Like I said, I just started, but these are mine, and I love them... I am LOVING Kubert's art! How in the world did I manage to ignore it for over thirty years of collecting?!?!?
