  4. Brave and the Bold 034 (1961-03) Wanted this one for a VERY long time... finally found one with nice colours, decent centering, and in my price range...
  5. This might be a little early for "pre-code", but the cover definitely fits... Smokin' hot off the mail run from filter81, here's the Crowley copy of Dynamic Comics #16...
  6. Hello, all... haven't really had a reason to peruse the Silver Age section, until recently... I guess these belong here
  7. Just free'd this one from its slab... It's a keeper!
  8. Welcome back, Ian!!! You have one hell of a collection representing an awesome accomplishment! I wish you posted here more often! I would love to see some of your rarities...
  9. Yeah, the Vic Flint came second... notice the American cops instead of British Bobbies...
  10. I am loving that cover... Jeremy is truly gifted as an artist (and a mustache grower )
  11. Sorry, mate... left out one dash when I pasted it over. http://rapidshare.com/files/56298914/0118_Fiction_House_Comics_-_A_Golden_Age_Index__1978.Al_Dellinges___c2c.Cimmerian32_.cbr.html
  12. I have in my collection a really handy little index for the Big Six at Fiction House... thought I would scan it and share it here... http://rapidshare.com/files/56298914/0118_Fiction_House_Comics_-_A_Golden_Age_Index__1978.Al_Dellinges___c2c.Cimmerian32_.cbr.html
  13. I'd just like to point out how deep and rich the colours are on those covers (every SINGLE one of them!!!)... Truly an achievement harder than merely getting the run together is finding a set that looks that pretty. Thanks for posting, sacentaur! Just a beautiful accomplishment!
  14. Bonds has one he was selling. I'd check with him. Airboy 5 CGC 9.8 for sale for some reason a line is forming for this book. A. 16 page book (incredibly easy to damage, and prone to spine flaking)... B. Black Cover Spine (all of the damage mentioned in the first part, STAND OUT)... C. Dave Stevens Golden Age swipe (Air Fighters v2 #7)... D. VERY few in HG... 0 in 9.6, 6 in 9.8, 1 in 9.9, 0 in 10.0 on the CGC census
  15. KUDOS to Julio (FIREFLY)!!! Stellar copy of YOLOY (9.6, methinks), and a right-up-my-alley batch of freebies! Thanks, man! Much appreciated Joshua
  16. There is an arc with 3 more issues. Check out this old interview with Jeremy for more info. http://www.newsarama.com/comics/020927-Cursed-Pirate-Girl.html Is he going to be at HeroesCon? I got an email about a couple of days agi confirming that he is going to be at the Heroe's Con at Indie Island. Sorry, should have posted this sooner. (thumbs u SWEET!
  17. Well, I am VERY interested in this title based purely on the cover art... and the glowing reviews from the people who have actually managed to get the series as it came out. Being primarily a vintage collector, I usually miss the boat when something new and exciting comes out (only just yesterday sat down and read the TPBs for Walking Dead...). Really looking forward to getting the 4th Print when it is released, and then deciding if the scratch required to get the first prints is something I want to aim at... until then, I can only anticipate, not participate But please, those of you who have read it, and enjoyed it, keep talking about it, I check this thread every day
  18. Well, not to put too fine a point on it... I don't give a damn about SubMariner (or most of the rest of the GA Timely output, other than Captain America, for that matter), and I DO collect GGA covers... Suspense #3 any day of the week, and twice on Tuesdays.
  19. just imagine that dynamic 8 in it's respective slot at top-left, and you've got the up-to-date group. i'll now have to redouble the punch 12 effort. WOOT! Looks great, man THAT is a lovely run of books.
