  1. But they already own the biggest comic company in the world… why license to another company when they can do it in house under the Marvel banner or Star Comics like they had in the 80s?
  2. It better stay at QC for at least another 9 months
  3. woohoo! 3/14/21 GEI my last Economy box! The nightmare is over!
  4. I honestly don’t get it either… why bother licensing? Keep it in-house, synergy, all that corporate speak they are so fond of… target younger readers… give them a «Carl Barks» of their own, I’m sure he’s out there chomping at the bit.
  5. If they put a rack of Disney comics in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom or World of Disney at Disney Springs, they’d outsell ANY currently published comic 100 to 1
  6. Disney can sell litterally millions of units of any junk with Mickey or Donald on it, except comics... Go figure
  7. 2/21 shipped, 2/18 still GEI very happy with grades so far, these were all purchased long ago and was very worried about trimming or CT, but all good! Even got a couple in 9s!
  8. Don't think anyone was using Economy ST for hot modern books, unless they like being a year behind trends...
  9. To clarify, will they ship each held order separately and charge you shipping on each or will they ship with a combined single shipping fee? I think that’s where I may have not been clear. I’m actually surprised they don’t tack on a storage fee!
  10. Well you should call them for me cuz they’ve never allowed me to hold books after many calls…
  11. With the Canadian dollar where it is actually and the ever increasing shipping costs from the US to Canada, I’m sure a lot of my fellow Canucks have pumped the brakes on big ticket purchases from the States. Buying one book from CLink or Heritage is so cost prohibitive that you force yourself to “fill your cart” as I call it. At least CLink allows you to keep books there until you reach a good number but not HA.
  12. Would need at least a 9.0 for slab worthiness I think.
  13. No clue what that printer’s crease does to grade… help me decide if it’s sub worthy. Thanks! It is the first Wolverine after all
  14. 12/9/21 G/QC today, sorry to the November waiters, it’ll be over soon…
  15. Ok, I'm sure it wasnt 0% either, I always thought their BP was non negotiable (at least that's what they've told me)
  16. They sold the same book last year so twice the juice. I think setting a reserve on these near 6 digit books will start to be the norm...
  17. He paid 90k to buy it. Sold it for 90k. HA took 15k buyers premium plus 10% of the 75k so 15k + 7.5k so in all he lost a regular human’s yearly salary with very little effort
