  1. The Spirit 22 cgc 7.0 classic cover Asking 6500.00 obo its in a new cgc holder now. Second pic doesn’t do it any justice. It’s a nice dark blue. I’ve had a couple of these and this one is definitely the nicest copy I’ve owned.
  2. Posting one tonight, depending on how it does I may post some others. No HOSers or privies please. Paypal the preferred method here. Shipping will be about 25.00 from Canada. Securely boxed. First time stamped wins the book. Feel free to pm any questions you may have.
  3. Nice looking 5.0... Looks every bit a 6.0 or 6.5 imo...
  4. You may have missed my earlier post where I said that I also had to wait almost a year for my books with paradise. The only thing that I know that added to that extended wait period, was that delay in sending them out for over a month. I don't know why there was an additional 9 months tacked on after that.
  5. That was exactly what I did when my books finally arrived. Renos are done now though, so I'm curious why the books are still being delayed.
  6. Probably not, but maybe they can supply some sort of info on the matter. They did tell me that the books I brought in in April didn't go out until June. Any info may help with some understanding.
  7. You should ask when they were sent it and if there was a delay in paying for the books while at cgc or sending them in to cgc...
  8. They're on instagram, and I've posted asking about my books and demanding to know why no one had the decency to call me back. I believe his wife is in charge of the IG account and she was not pleased to say the least... She had some choice words for me... at that point I lost my mind with blind rage and told her how I really felt...
  9. I love how Peter always adds that the customer has threatened or made a complaint in his email to cgc.. My forwarded emails said the same thing "he's threatening legal action." I had several books with them that were worth in excess of 6000 dollars, so I was going out of my mind wondering about their whereabouts. I just find this whole thing very puzzling. Makes me wonder about the reason Doug left after being there 20 plus years. To be honest, my only dealings with them over the last few years has been to simply send in books to cgc, I find their prices and stock didn't fit my needs any longer.
  10. I have a hard time believing that Pete would use the money for anything other than what it was supposed to be used for, that being said, it could just be me being naive. But, I could not get an answer as to why the books were not shipped for over a month after they were supposed to be shipped out. Something must be happening there as I just don't get why their submissions are taking months longer than anywhere else, I just don't know what it is.
  11. Yes I was having my books pressed... The problem was that I dropped them off with Doug in April, as he told me they were going out the next week. When I called back several months later to inquire I found out that they had not been shipped until June. Doug was no longer there and the new emps had absolutely no info to go on. They were not able to bring anything up on the computer because for some odd reason the owner (Peter) would not allow them access, only he could get the info. I just found it odd that the employees would not be able to get that info with so many customers asking about their books. I finally threatened legal action and they broke down and gave me peters cell number. After several texts he cc'd me on a couple of emails with cgc. Then the books showed up about a month later.. It's a shame because I had been going there for over 17 years and enjoyed chatting with Doug about books from time to time.
  12. Based on what some are saying here, I will say that I dropped my books off in April and they were not sent in to cgc until June... I won't speculate as to what the delay was.
  13. I had several with them off to cgc that took almost a year to get back. Once their store manager Doug left Peter had a hard time finding good help or so I was told. I called for months just to find out where in the chain of things my books were, no one could tell me. They kept telling me that only Peter could check but he's out of town. It was one of the most frustrating things I've had to go through regarding comics. To have 1000's of dollars of books out of your hands and no one able to tell me where they were. I finally had to threaten legal action, and low and behold they arrived just over a month later. Peter is well aware of how I feel about them at that store now, and I won't be going back ever.

  19. I'll leave this up over the long weekend, and then tuesday if it hasn't sold, it'll go to auction. I'm kind of curious to see how it does in auction anyway... but would be happy to sell it here as well.. Who doesn't like a drooling green monster. I'm calling it the 3rd best cover in the run, behind 5 then 3...
