Here's one I bought on CC as a raw 7.0. Then found it on HA as a 5.5. Resubbed it and it came back as a 7.0. Important thing is that it looks more 7.0 to me...

I love those National covers, and would love to see the splash as well.

Here's one I took a chance on on ebay a while ago. I was scared it might come back PLOD, but I was lucky.

There must be more out there. Here's another street and smith book with an extremely racist depiction of a japanese soldier. Now that I have a half asian son, I wonder how he'll react when he's old enough to these covers? Here he is working his way through the case of a Penn copy of Air Ace 2 I picked up for a friend. (a repost) Here's my copy.

I know of two copies with fellow friends/collectors. They've had them since the beginning of time it seems. Classic cover, so so interiors, rare as hell but imho not worth anything close to today's asking prices. Way more things I'd rather spend six figures on. Six figure pre code book? I'm lost...
