  1. I was driving through this part of town yesterday and saw some artwork I had not noticed before. So here they are, for you Simpsons completists
  2. Hot Wheels did have a racing system called Fat Track that was pretty cool. No slots at all. You would juice up the cars and let them go around the track racing each other in a really FREE STYLE way. It was Ingenius but kind of a hassle to keep buying batteries.
  3. Good thing Flash has that step van in case he has to get somewhere in a hurry
  4. I remember Johnny Lightning commercials during Saturday morning cartoons. I had a few and always thought. these things are pretty dang fast.
  5. Interesting thread. I still have a big box of hot wheels track. You know, the orange stuff. I was saving it for when grandkids came along, but I'm starting to think that may not happen I sold all/most of the cars around 10 years ago on the bay. There were about 40 of them. They were all beat up and played with and I was surprised at the bidding activity. Turns out one of them was sought after by a few people. It was a VW bus with surfboards. Who knew?
  6. Kinda classy that he always wore a tie while working. At least to my memory.
  7. You are correct. My bad. I guess this is a "fast lane" grading contest

  12. Amazing that these things still exist. Love looking at all the covers and artwork. A couple almost had hitting the "I'll take it" !!
  13. I remember being a teenager in 1974 and trying to collect a set of Marvel Value Stamps. Many of the books I bought for the stamp I didn't read for a while. I don't remember if this was the first Neal Adams work I ever saw, but it certainly made an impression on me when I did read it. Both to Conan and to Neals great story telling artwork.
  14. Sad to hear this. One of the greatest among the greats. I chatted with him once at San Diego Con and he was very friendly, even though I didn't buy anything.
  15. He risked his life?? Wtf kinda risk is involved in sitting at your computer safe at home with a diet coke and a bag of Cheetos at hand ?
  16. That's cool. Is that your Barks litho in the front left ?
