looking at completed listings on eBay the last 3 or 4 have sold for $600 so I suppose that's a fair price.

NM #98 9.9 got $12,000 something (only 1 on census, though, AFAIK). Who has more rabid fans, Venom or Deadpool?
there are now 4 on the census and the more recent sales were in the $3-4k range.

Just got these back from CGC. The majority came back lower than I hoped (wanting 9.6+ across the board). Guess I just need to improve my grading skills.
Don't feel bad. It's a learning process for all of us. Even the absolute best graders and the graders at CGC had to start somewhere.
I know a hell of a lot more about grading than I did 5 years ago and that's mostly due to prior CGC submissions and my participation on these boards. There are a lot of slabbed books posted on here. Take a close look at each one and zoom in when you can. Look at the given grade and see if you can find any visible flaws.
That being said, I still get books back from CGC that look absolutely pristine, come back with 9.0 and 9.2 grades and I'm sitting there thinking "WTF?".
Zero creases front and back along the spine, no blunted corners, no reader impressions and they should be 9.6+ (thumbs u

Someone needs to bust out an alternate eBay account then and bid up every auction of this turds and then not pay for any of them. Do this over the course of a couple months and the turd seller may give up.
GPA gets all screwed up by this loser if you do that. Hopefully he shills his account to a lot of ebay fees.

that is so crazy... I just can't see it holding that kind of value... if I had a grand to drop on something, that certainly wouldn't be it. Awesome thing to have for the buyer, but... wow.
I completely agree. This is out of left field. I mean, branget sold a 9.9 SS a few months ago for about $750. Maybe it's time to start listing some of my collection...

I'm liking this season even more than i disliked the first season.
Seems the show has taken a whole new direction (pun intended) and is now heading the right way
I agree that both Andrea and Rick need to grow some balls if they are going to be like the comic book characters, but we don't know that. (Although i doubt they'll change Rick too much)
And whoever mentioned Shane ending up as a Governor type character, I could totally see that. (But i really just want him to be zombie fodder soon because i cant' stand the actor)
Also liking Daryl a lot...which probably means his bwaiins will be eaten next week and T-Dog (gaaawd i hate that name) will live to see the end of season 2
But i'm hoping for the best, so far it's been great and waaay better than season one.
