  1. No problem - release my claims on X-men 78 and Giant Size 2.
  2. Lot of deals on Clink tonight. Finally picked up an X-men 14 for my run. While admittedly not the prettiest 5.5 out there, couldn't beat the price - smidge over 1/2 FMV.
  3. My local LCS bought an original owner collection and it had a super nice run of silver age X-men. I bought a lot of them in a couple of big transactions. I posted some of them in the main forum a while back but I wanted to show the group in their glory. I apologize in advance for all of the images.
  4. Just to add my 2 cents - I think mycomicshop is a fantastic place to consign slabbed books. Been doing it off and on with them for years. If you list realistic prices and the book has a market - the book will sell and quickly. You can always take offers too. Very friendly and easy to use. As others have said, they are ultraconservative with grading raw books though.
  5. Wasn't sure if I should post these here or in the Silver Age X-men thread - it was a busy week. Picked the 2 up in a X-mas sale. Its low grade, but I finally have a #2. The rest - my LCS got in an original owner collection of Silver Age books. Made a giant bundle deal. They are super glossy in person - my scanner does not begin to do them justice.
  6. Finally got my nicer raw copy graded. Bought this 7 or years ago from a Half Price Books - it was a wall book there. The clerk was surprised to see someone actually willing (and excited) to pay that much money for a comic book - it was well under the going market rate, so yeah......
  7. My worst slabbed Miswrap - still a 9.8 though thankfully
  8. Its happening..... https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/9690/terry-austin-signing/
  9. 36 graded copies - this is tied for highest (so far).....so few sales that my copy that I bought in 2003 is still the last regular sale in grade!
  10. Saga 1 from fellow boardie Ryanmassacre and Action Comics 894 variant
  11. Another great show guys! Dealers had great inventory - so many wonderful books to drool over. No pics to share -sorry! Ended up spending a little bit more than I had planned on, but some deals were just too good to pass up. Not sure I really needed additional copies of X-men 97 and 98 but when you find NM copies at incredible prices....well, you can see my profile picture. My wife was pretty happy with the availability of Sandman back issues - think she picked up around 10 or so issues and all the dollar Rogue and Leia comics she could find. Looking forward to the next one!
  12. It was nice to go back to a show for the first time in a couple of years. I do hope you guys will be able to get your old location (or a different location) soon though. It was uncomfortably tight near some booths - getting around in the back front room especially was a giant pain and I know there are vendors whose books I did not look at as thoroughly as I would have liked because of it. Did help that masks were enforced. As always though, a great value and great show. Usual great selection of quality dealers and was able to find some great deals (after getting over sticker shock from 2021 wall book prices). Looking forward to the next one!
  13. Class of '03....still lurking after all these years.....
  14. Picked up a small but nice Turtles collection from an Offerup listing
  15. Take Darth Maul 1 and Star 1
