  1. Great ECs. TFTC #35 is a good read - might be worthwhile cracking the slab. It looks better than a 6.5 anyway. Nice.
  2. That's a nice 5.5! I don't think I've seen that cover - pretty cool. In that grade, it's a sure crack and read.
  3. Man, high enough grade on that one?? Is the interior as cool as the cover? Sweet book... if I ever have money again, it's tempting to stray from ECs!
  4. My VoH #39 is a lowly 8.5. Man, it looks like a tattered rag compared to that. What a sweet copy! An underrated cover as well.
  5. HoF #12 was one of the best of the Ghastly run in my opinion. I had a really nice one, but sold it. I miss it, but it did help fund something else, so I can't complain too much.
  6. That's a great set of books... some look pretty high grade.
  7. Got my copy of Four Colour today... I've only tipped the iceberg on it, but I'm anxious to finish. Great entertainment for the price, for sure!
  8. Gracias, and I think the Shock would be the most fun to read, due to all the genres. I wish I'd gone after more of those Cochran bound volumes when they were on eBay about 2 years ago. One of the lucky people here nabbed the Crypt of Terror / TFTC set for an enviably low price. That was Bronzilla who later sold it to me... Truly a fine volume! Let me know when you get sick and disgusted of it... and need somebody to mercifully take it off your hands... (We need to start a "Rush Cochran volume" club or something. A friend of mine has the Weird Fantasy 2nd of 2 volume... Just gotta track down the other dozen or so.) Anyway, I like this whole idea of clubs for owners of comics with decapitated heads. I can't wait to see the "Roly Poly 14" club. It's currently stored in Canada until I finish my law degree here in the UK... by the time I see it again, it'll seem brand new to me again! So I think it has a few years left with me. I never could track down nice copies of CS 22 or Roly Poly (at least, not when I had any money to spare). Envious of those who have them... the copy of RP above is quite nice. What a treat!
  9. Where did you find this gold? That's so sweet... cue drool icon.

  11. That's sweet! I wonder if the interior is as grim...
  12. Those are some awesome GA books! Killer eye appeal on the Wings
  13. Those are some sweet books! I don't remember ever seeing that WF cover - very nice! Creepy cover on the WoF.
  14. I don't have a scanner anymore ... but I did find this in my photobucket: I thought it was a solid 7.5 in hand, but there's a tiny tear I missed at the top edge. Still a solid upgrade from my old FN/FN- ... and nice PQ!
  15. Not new to my collection... but grades just in from CGC. Overlooked quite quickly in general - maybe Gold is the right audience. Tales from the Crypt #23 - 7.0 Shock Suspenstories #10 - 8.0 Shock Suspenstories #12 - 7.0 Shock Suspenstories #15 - 8.5 Shock Suspenstories #17 - 7.5 (bethlehem) and probably my single best comic... Crime Suspenstories #1 - 9.4
  16. I don't have a scanner anymore and the camera is packed for our move to the UK... but I did just get some interesting grades back. All EC. Tales from the Crypt #23 - 7.0 Shock Suspenstories #10 - 8.0 Shock Suspenstories #12 - 7.0 Shock Suspenstories #15 - 8.5 Shock Suspenstories #17 - 7.5 (bethlehem) and probably my single best comic... 17. Schnizzle... not even close. His loss = your gain.
  18. I don't usually buy war books... but I couldn't pass on this one: one of the best war covers I've seen. It's a solid 9.2, too. And an OO stamp on the inside cover! Coolio.
