Love Sabine Rich's art, but there aren't many copies graded of the virgin variant let alone the trade dress variant and only 1 or 2 sales. Getting this graded would be more for your personal collection then an investment.

I am new to cgc grading, but are you able to get your comic prescreened as part of the SS private signing? If you can do this it would have given you some assurances of the grade to expect?

Recently had a book get reholdered due to newton rings and came back with dust clearly visible and a small piece of the holder loose within the slab. Contacted CGC and sent back to them to get reholdered on their dime.

I dropped off my sub of 21 modern books at C2E2 last August 2022 with CCS Press and got them back at the end of Dec 2022. CCS Pressing still takes forever.

Are modern books worth getting pressed?

Had a modern book that was a CBCS 9.8 and submitted for crossover with no pressing. Book returned back as a CGC 9.8.

I'm assuming it would be difficult to prove CGC is at fault if you believe your book was damaged by them and not during shipping.

I'm assuming the original poster would have to crack this comic out of the CBCS holder to send it in to CGC to get it signed or does CGC offer a crossover service and allow you to submit signature series?

I just subscribed to Gocollect and I find the interface easy enough to navigate. I mostly collect modern books and I've had no issues finding them on the GoCollect so far and even books that are missing they will add if you open a ticket with them. I'll probably try GPA as well and see which is better for me. In terms of monthly price GPA is charging $11 while GoCollect is charges $9.

I'm not sure how common this is, but I came across Angel: After the Fall #10 SDCC Exclusive variant where every copy is already presigned by the cover artist Alex Garner. This is even printed on the back cover stating that this SDCC exclusive is signed. If I were to send this in I'm assuming I'm getting a Qualified label even though the point of this variant is that it is signed by the cover artist? I checked the census and there are only Qualified and SS Yellow label graded copies of this variant. Is there no exceptions in these situations to get a SS Yellow label?
