  1. The logo and name of their Infinite Black IP splattered over the top of Marvel's trade dress.
  2. Rope accomplices into your little copyright and trademark infringement scheme? It does create a sort of circle of trust I suppose.
  3. https://claytoncrain.com/products/copy-of-deadpool-nerdy-thirty-1-clayton-crain-99-problems-variant So it looks like they added a green and red gradient, a sombrero, confetti, and a catch phrase.
  4. Wish this was a better shot of the Ghost Rider. That's the one where they're mashing up their IP.
  5. It doesn't make sense, though. The prefix already exists in the sentence as the first word "In." Trust can be an adjective, noun, or verb. Here it's a verb. "In" is an adverb, modifying "trust" so that trust operates on the object, "God" in the modified way "in" God. The prefix "In" or "En" is redundant on the suffix trust. I know Entrust and Intrust are both words, but they are not correct in this sentence.
  6. The spelling error which was actually CGC correcting Black Flag's bad grammar. So they are correcting something to match something incorrect. Is the room spinning? I feel like it's spinning.
  7. Yeah, sorry about that. Looks like @bc said it. I don't know, I just clicked the "quote" button.
  8. Well CGC have made their stance clear on the next two books. Universal Grade Label with notes about aftermarket additions. What has occurred between Marvel and Black Flag is a separate story. CGC may be willing to grade the two future books, but is Marvel willing to allow them to see the light of day? Especially, given that there is speculation that one of them was a mash up of Infinite Black's IP and Marvel's: https://bleedingcool.com/comics/who-are-infinite-black-of-the-black-flag-comics-acetate-covers/ "Zymotica[ ]is the name of the actetate cover intended to be created for Clayton Craine's Ghost Rider #1. for this weekend's Boston Fan Expo, the "Zymotica Vs" variant cover. Might that suggest Black Flag Comics were intending to use their existing retailer exclusive Clayton Crain Ghost Rider cover approved by Marvel, to promote their own intellectual property, created by Clayton Crain, with a bit of acetate on the cover? Might we get Zymotica Vs Ghost Rider? You could see how Marvel Comics might have a problem with that more than the "In God We Intrust" cover."
  9. That's what I thought. Looks like Bleeding Cool was basing their article purely on an "exhibitor list" of some sort that I have not been able to locate.
  10. Nope. Go to the website. Add to cart. Check out for $0.00, receive print copy via snail mail, or immediate digital pdf download.
  11. Can anybody confirm this? I thought I saw a booth picture from Boston earlier. https://bleedingcool.com/comics/black-flag-not-at-boston-fan-expo-more-ultimate-fallout-4-fallout/ "Black Flag Comics are still not updating their social media, despite that they are meant to be exhibiting at Boston Fan Expo. Only thing is, they are not present on the Boston Fan Expo exhibitor list, not as Black Flag Comics nor as Infinite Black Publishing."
  12. https://drunkwooky.com/2021/05/24/u-s-marshals-auction-off-vintage-kenner-star-wars-gonk-droid-collection-in-investment-fraud-case/amp/ Read on! (Note: because I’m a lawyer, I stopped short of outright stating he used the $3M in embezzled funds to buy Gonk droids, but the implication is there, right?!)
  13. So, one of my favorite pass times is watching corporate train wrecks. There’s a Transformers message bird where Megalopolis Toys’ downfall was chronicled. There was the U.S. Marshal’s auction of the Gonk Droid Vintage Star Wars focus collector’s collection after it came to light he was embezzling his day job investors’ accounts to pay for his hundreds of Gonk Droids. Oh and who can forget the slow burn that is the current Heritage Auction/Wata games situation? I was trying to explain to one of my coworkers today how I wasn’t going to watch TV tonight, just catch up on acetategate
  14. Where are we here? I didn’t do last night’s homework and skipped ahead 15 pages in this thread. I see Black Flag has no major social media push of its Boston etate books. This could mean nothing or that they were given a stern talking to and finger wagging by Marvel.

  16. I did not expect that voice to come out of that man.
  17. This. Unless waived, contractual rights are in addition to all rights of the parties under statute and common law.
  18. I always laugh when I come across a strange outlier of a contract provision or statute. "Wow, I want to hear the story about why that became an issue!" I was doing research on DUI laws in law school and found the Michigan one: "unlawful to drive upon the frozen boundary waters". Michigan: "Ok, guys, enough drunk Truckscapades!" I think Georgia or Alabama: "huffing glue counts." Georgia or Alabama: "Alright, everybody, yes huffing solvents counts as driving under the influence. Please settle down!"
  19. Sorry. Legal market's competitive nowadays. Gotta give your users a free sample now to get them hooked.
