i liked the ending to the mist. just picked it up on br and it does have the b&w version on it. now just to find time to watch it.

being in the printing business now i understand that stated # of copies is usually correct, except for overpintings to make up for the spoiled copies that did not make it past QA or to have a buffer to protect from any other evens that could lead to the destruction of the original print run. so yeah, 1k is probably close, but with overprinting, it probably came out to 1100 or 1200. larry may have received 1k, but there are additional copies out there that the printer would have made to make the order requirement in case of unforseen circumstances. a buyer would be stupid to not have some type of overprint on their title because that will take away from their profit potential.

i thought it was still considered a 1st print variant and not a later print? Shouldn't a first print variant be printed and solicited at the same time as the first print? i suppose, the only thing about it though, is look at avatar press and the variant covers that come out later than the regular versions and still being sold as 1st prints....

kirkman sucks with superheros. he works well with no name characters. i hate invincible, hated marvel zoms, haunt...hahahaha. no.

kathryn, if you want to trade one of those adlard sketches for a rathburn sketch, i'd be up to it. adlard is the only one i don't have a sketch from. moore will be tough because he doesn't sketch on books anymore, you'd have to track down someone who has one already

They are also doing Liberty Meadows so they like boobs too. Boobs and Zombies...now if they could just fit Beer in there somewhere they would be practically Americanized. i'm working on a story including all of those right now.

Well I do too, but I thought you meant just Walking Dead..... i'm talking about the #50 variant steve, i have kirkman and larsen (with a zom sketch) on the varaint ("only" a 9.6 but still cool). i have 2 sketched by moore, 1 remarked by kirkman and adlard and 2 sketches from rathburn along with the larsen sketch. i can't wait to get my better copies of 1 and 2...
