  1. Glad you liked it Jay (thumbs u

Now I want to buy one in dre's thread. Been too long since a new book made me want to get a slabbed copy. I'm afraid to read revival 1 because I see that happening with that title too.

  2. Andy70,

Take a moment and step away and relax. It's just a book. The only thing that ruins a book is poor writing, poor art or both. Yes the variant thing has gone all kinds of stupid, those things are what allows publishing houses to take chances on new titles. The fad will burn itself out soon enough, then everyone can go back to predicting the end of comics (thumbs u

And the book is quite good. Digging the schizo nature of the character.

  3. Looks like I've been Megacon'd for $26 - sent me the wrong book

What were you supposed to get and what did he send you?

Was supposed to be the Walking Dead #85 Variant but got the normal #85 which I already have

That sucks. Email him and demand he sent the right book to you and have you keep the one he sent in error.

I don't think you have to demand he send the right one and keep the original as a reward for his mistake. A simple PM about the oversight on the book, and give the seller the opportunity to come through is probably better than a heated PM with demands. Things happen. People make mistakes. We're not dealing with weapons-grade Uranium here. It's comic books, and things can be rectified easily enough without a bunch of posturing.

Now, if the seller does't want to do right by his mistake, then - give him the demands. But you should give the guy the chance to fix it before taking his @ss-end out.

Let me ask you one thing. If you knew this going into the sale, why would you purchase anything from him in the first place?

Oakman, I had no idea it was Sergio until after I paid and his name came up on PayPal as the owner of the email address.

  6. And why are all the characters that have been offed, Americans? Not one has been any of the foreign born actors?

And yes the gov will come soon enough but damn.

 I don't think ANY of the characters on the show are "foreign born"...Are you referring to the Asian-Americans, African-Americans on the show?

I think A.RYAN changed his name hm

    lol

Err...yeah, I guess it is too hard to understand the the whole "FORIEGN BORN ACTORS" part in my post.

Anyway who cares right? Just pointing out that the main characters who have been killed off were portrayed by American actors and so far none of the characters who are played by non American actors have been killed off. Thought that was a funny little bit about the show. That is all but that is fine if you want to insinuate that I am a racist by NOT reading the post and what is actually said.

And lennie james is British as well.

  7.

hm, saw my quote again. Just edited the original. I meant to say, "I've always posted spoiler tags". My bad.

    So...

What could have brought that chopper down? That's some freakin' talent.

I didn't put spoiler tags since it was in the preview from the last episode. ;)

At first I thought it wa just mechanical but then with the gov rolling up just after the crash...

    hm

    Magic bullet(s)?

It'd take more than 2 rounds (of even .50 cal) to bring down a Huey. Maybe mr. NotSoNice would be the best to answer that since he is a gunner on airships. And he has flown on quite a number of hueys.

  9. It really doesn't solve anything...we all know that they don't read the rules now so what would ensure they read the rules prior to posting in the marketplace prior to the "probation period"?

    Are you responding to me?

    No...sorry didn't quote earlier.

Was more in regards to the discussion of making a rule that a newbie can't sell until they have been on the boards for X amount of time and Y number of posts. Unless there is some way to have the mods make a pop up screen when you try and create a thread in the FS section for the first time that you have to "accept" (similar to the ToS in most installations) any addition to the rules would likely go unobserved by them and they are often directed to the rules by members as it stands now.

The mods would have us self police, which is fine.
