Hi Everyone!
The tax man should be calling soon and thought I’d get ahead of things hopefully. Offering up my Amazing Spider-Man 31 CGC 9.2 white with a blazing red cover. No returns on graded books. Slab is freshly graded and scratch and crack free. Would prefer to sell within the U.S. with a book this big but I’m certainly willing to consider international shipping. Ships fully insured for $40.00 Asking $7,000. No sales to anyone on the naughty list. Check or money order preferred but can live with PP. Had this briefly on eBay but took it down.
per pm! BOOM! Appreciate you!

Appreciate the response. That spread is epic. Thanks for sharing. I couldn't think of anymore covers than those three, but my knowledge is not near where some others around here is at, so figured I'd ask. Thanks again!

It's surprisingly hard to think of too many series that had *consistently* great covers. Probably stems from the journeyman nature of the business... artists were constantly being rotated through lots of different titles. (And from the publishers' standpoint, if an artist feels like they 'belong' to a title, they're gonna want more money!)
With that said, Planet Comics (1940s-1950s) deserves a shout out. Easily 1/2 to 2/3rds of the run are great covers, and not too many clunkers.
Winner. Got to be Planet. Close second is Wonder Comics. Some absolutely fantastic covers in that run.

Great book

I would like to add one more really nice GA book. Not sure which one. Will depend on auctions.
I'd like one 9.0+ early ASM. I got ASM 6 in 9.0 last year, I'd like to add another one this year.
ASM 300. Been looking at my 9.6 forever wishing it was a 9.8. Might try to make that happen.
Continue saving extra money for a IH 1 and AF 15 (one day!). I knocked off Avengers 1, ToS 39, Sgt Fury 1, and Strange Tales 110 (Stan Lee SS), and a nice high grade (9.2) FF 48 last year, which I added to my poorly purchased (2021 purchases - they won;t be worth what I paid for them again for years) X-Men 1 and DD 1. I am close to having the SA books I truly covet covered, and I have saved the two biggest until the end. I'd also love to upgrade the aforementioned DD 1 and X-Men 1 one day, but that day is probably not in 2023.

Here is another era appropriate swipe of the FF 214 original that I own, and this one was done only 3 years later in 1957.

No shipping notices on the few AH purchases I have so it will all go in the 2023 thread next year. This is a fun thread.
