  1. All -- Noobie question here:  It looks like this book that I picked up has new staples put into the back of the book that protrude through the front (see photos). 

     

    Based upon the overall condition of the book and these new staples what type of grade am I look at here?  Would there be any benefit to professionally C&Ping this book or is an at-home press the way to go with this book in its condition?

  2. Thanks again for all of the help grading some of my other comics.  I came across several Detective Comics in the 400s range that have a "10" ink marking over the "Approved by the Comics Code Authority" emblem.  What would a book like this (#411) grade at with this defect?   

     

    Update:  It looks like the marking can be mostly wiped with a microfiber towel. I don't want to mess with it too much, but will the rest of that ink come out during a C&P?
