  1. To me it looks like his art has evolved into very bad, late period Jack Kirby, when The King had significant health issues.
  2. Old or modern, it always irritates me. I feel your pain too.
  3. As an angler, that’s a nice catch. Well done.
  4. Cho's a very cartoony artist, similar to Bruce Timm. But, he's done better. From the POV of a minimalist style, and given the powers of the character, it's not bad.
  5. Vampirella Vol 1 : Forbidden Fruit 2017 series, issues 0 to 5 Entertaining if bizarre story from Paul Cornell, nice art by Jimmy Broxton, a style which wouldn’t look out of place in an original Vampirella Warren magazine. 2024 total = 226
  6. Marvel should turn that into Spider-Punk's support band. You deserve a fee for its use, of course.
  7. Just finished Yakuza Kiwami 1 One of the most surprisingly entertaining games I've played in ages. I can understand the popularity of the series now. Some very inventive, imaginative side missions / sub-stories. Great protagonist.
  8. One part of the classic 'Return of Barry Allen' storyline, top left, which isn't much use alone, and the rest are decent reads but really gap fillers until Waid kicks into top gear again with the Impulse storyline. Dollar bin fillers.
  9. Still waiting for the free PS5 remastered update for Fallout 4.
  10. Metal Hurlant Howling or Screaming Metal (Is that metal enough? I think so.)
  11. Both have produced great, classic comics. Both have produced unreadable, poorly-drawn drek. I switch between the two, sifting out the wheat from the chaff. Same with any other comic book publisher’s output.
  12. Good name for a sludge metal band.
  13. The Miscuts. Play on an existing punk band.
  14. Two bands that did exist were The X-Men, and, Love and Rockets.
  15. Len Ticular and The Variants Shaken Slab Syndrome Boston Copy (obviously a Boston cover band)
  16. Always thought this character had only appeared in British newspaper strips.
  17. The Wake 1 to 10 Some interesting ideas about flood myths and sea serpents and why they’re so common in many cultures, the first half is quite good, the second drags and for me has a so-so ending. Not one of Scott Snyder’s best. Always like Sean Murphy’s art, one of my favourite modern creators. 2024 total = 220
  18. One complete, ultimate series. That would be the absolute peak for me, as CGC 10.2 doesn’t yet exist, though theorised in another thread here.
  19. EC Weird Science 9.8, White pages Gaines File Copies
  20. Good Spider-Verse character. Combination of classic hard-boiled, intense detective and Nazi Smasher in the comics.
  21. I concur. I thought carpets were bad enough. Kevin's gone next level.
