Big Kudos to Sean aka NYComics for working with me during the Long Beach Con and Big Apple Con! Thanks man you are a life saver!
-
I got this one, with just Turner sig.Figured I would give this thread a bump It's a good one!
You should maximize that book and follow NYComics' lead. Add a Joe Simon/Stan Lee sig and maybe even a head sketch.
-
This one came out a bit yellow.......
All kinds of sweet!
-
Big Kuddos to Whovianone for helping me upgrade my Valiant SS collection!
Eternal Warrior #1

saw it coming
Not trying to be cool, but I kind of saw it coming too. When Layman said he saw the series going for about 50 issues, I knew we were way to far into the series to not have been introduced to Tony's nemisis already.
SPOILER: You can't have two prominent figures in the story with the same exact power and have them not end up being at odds with each other.
-
The battle he had with the JLA in Identity Crisis was one of the modern classics for sure.
+1, very Batmanesque

Anybody ever notice the similarities with Death Stroke and Dead Pool?
Dead Pool - Wade Wilson.
Death Stroke - Slade Wilson.
and the costume is similar in many ways.
Maybe it's just coincidence, never heard the comparisons mentioned before though!
From Wiki -
Created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool made his first appearance in the pages of New Mutants #98 published in February 1991. Rob Liefeld, a fan of the Teen Titans comics, showed his new character to then writer Fabian Nicieza. Upon seeing the costume and noting his characteristics (killer with super agility), Nicieza contacted Liefeld, saying "this is Deathstroke from Teen Titans." Nicieza gave Deadpool the real name of "Wade Wilson" as an in-joke to being "related" to "Slade Wilson", Deathstroke.
Interesting enough Deathstroke's half brother, the 4th person to be called Ravager is also named "Wade".

Where do you store back issues though?
-
Big Kuddos to Chandler at Desert Winds for getting my Avengers #4 double signed by Stan Lee and Joe Simon signed this past summer!
-
Yea and it doesn't help that the way Ennis signs his name that it looks like someone just purposely scratched over Cass's face. Ah well its still a double sig and its one of my fav covers of one of my favorite titles.
-
Cool books! (but did you want to punch Garth Ennis in the mouth after his horrible signature placement?? )
God help me I really did

I'm sorry - I read it and thought it was stupid. Just over the top stupid.
I agree 100%
What exactly made it more over the top than any other comic out there? Not trying to start a debate, just curious.
-
whats the rate to fast track a SS?
-
Basically, there was a false supply vs demand. The price for chew #1 will drop.
How was it a false supply? 3k print run was the actual run was it not?
