  9. I picked up a nice primarily SA/BA Marvel and DC collection in August. Pics of the raw books were posted in the Edmonton Expo thread. There were also 120+ slabbed books in the collection, and I will be posting a bunch of them for sale here first before putting them up for auction elsehwere. As usual, trumps PMs I have not responded to. Shipping Policy: Shipping for slabbed comics starts at $20 in a small box with tracking and insurance in Canada and the continental USA. Shipping for raw books starts at $6 in a bubble padded mailer with interior cardboard protection in Canada and the continental USA. Overseas shipping will be charged at the postal rate. NOTE: The books graded in 2006 by the owner (second generation label) were not pressed prior to submission. I can't speak for the first generation label books.
  10. GA Collectables had nothing of interest when I asked them to pull stuff out. The books were either overgraded or overpriced (or both). The selection of keys/high demand books was very limited that visit as well. Maybe they have added stock since then.
  11. No, I mean GA/SA/BA back issues as well as the CA and MA you see everywhere. The last time I was able to hit Golden Age between meetings downtown a year and a bit ago they had next to nothing for older stuff in the store.
  12. How many of them have decent back issue selections?
  13. How many comic stores are left in Vancouver? We still have a lot here in Edmonton and Calgary.
  14. Just buy a few copies of each and don't worry about it. Both will see decent gains over the coming years.
  15. Interesting to see the price being added to the label. It is fairly evident from looking at the cover of the book.....
  16. If I recall correctly, ASM 129 was in the sewers price-wise by the late 90s due to the overuse of Punisher from 1987-mid 90s. Marvel pimped the character everywhere and that oversaturation caused the popularity of the character to crash by the mid 00s.
  17. It depends on the demographic. If you look at females (and males) in their teens to early 30s, they all know who HQ is. That is the demographic that drove the box office for SS, and will do the same for BoP, SS2, and any other Harley led/co-led film.
