Oh you did? What a year you are having!!! All in all 2013 made up for the poopfest that was 2012! poopfest It was an overall stinky year with only two good things happening.

Pretty much. I like BB, loved the show when I was younger, but I don't see it being a "hot" book in the near future.

And remember..... there was an underbidder on this one going toe to toe the whole time. I wonder if it was just one other collector bidding at the end or a couple? I was one of the underbidders, but I'm certain there were a few. Lauren, could you believe the dog fight that went on at the end? Every time I thought the auction was going to end there was another bid. Yes I can! My final bid was pretty high but eventually I gave up.

That 1.0 is mighty attractive to me. I'm tempted to get it, sell my 4.0, and use whatever's left for another Bat 1. Tough choices.

I'm mostly excited to see where this goes since it's so out of left field. Ginger and Nancy also intrigue me. I honestly can't get enough of the series. And my LCS has a ton of #2, regular and variant cover. Anyone need one?

Great review! Curious, Lauren, from a female fan's perspective, is the 'Sexy Betty' cover your favorite as well for Issue 1 like most of the guys seem to be, or is one of the other covers? The sexy Betty reminded me slightly of the Bob Montana cover for Archie 50. Well...you know, in that context at least. My favorite is the Hot Dog variant. It's simply heatbreaking with how simple it is.

I wrote up a quick review about it in my blog, but overall you guys and gals need to read this series. It's such a fantastic take on the whole zombie thing, and it's also surprisingly heartbreaking. (and I'm not just saying that because of my weird emotional attachment to the characters.)

I got my variants, and I'm thrilled with them. I was a little hesitant at first (since Jughead is my favorite character) but damn, it's going to be a great series.

I know there's a few going up for auction soon. I haven't paying close attention to most auction houses lately (I work insane shifts at my job) but always a good idea to check there!

Wow! You have "that" copy. I remember it being for auction some years back. It's got to be one of the nicest looking 4.0's around. Yep! Got it from a Heritage Auction on a rainy Thursday afternoon a few years ago. I'm sure if the cover was attached it would grade higher. As it is though, I love it.

That is really awesome! Congrats! (thumbs u So that's why Roy bought my spare Pep 25! This piqued my curiosity and I compared the inside front cover on my remaining 25 and, was amazed to discover the inside cover logo section is precisely the same in the 25 as it is in the 22! And with most of the front also identical! I had no idea, and don't recall every hearing a sitchiation like that before. Sharp eye. It looks really great, I would have never known if it wasn't graded!
