Okay,this was to be my submission for the contest,inspired by the prize book Midnight in the Morgue The clock sweeps the seconds To midnight in the morgue The drawers shriek open Spilling forth an undead hoard Rags hang limp Like rotting tattered flesh On bodies cold Like fresh From the Fridgedair Tongues,eyes loll and roll With hungry,hateful Hellish stares..... The city morgue~ Gleaming sterile tiles Shall taste the gore Of your insides The bolt slams shut Clicks,locks firm Icy grips makes terror burn Tear rip scratch and bite Clawing you down to hell In the city morgue A fine place to die Youll haunt forever Your final charnal cell.
